What isn't there to like about tokyo plaza hotel should be the real
question. I stayed for 4 nights in the super junior themed room on the
3rd floor with two of my friends and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Staff was super helpful with anything! Recommended trips from personal experiences, offered umbrellas on rainy days, helped uncommom requests and even kept me company when I was sitting in the hotel cafe alone one day, chit chatting. Extremely close to the station, on which the Yamanote line stops. Has countless of good restaurants and shopping possibilities, especially if you are into Korean things as Shin Okubo is Korean Town. The hotel also have the famous electronic toilets. For k-pop fans,

Very affordable for a Tokyo hotel. The staff was extremely polite and willing to help as is expected with the Japanese. The hotel is down a street about 50 metres from the local Kamata train station. The location is very "unique" as they are plenty of gentlemen's clubs, bars, restaurants, a couple convenience stores, a couple fast food places, ... what people say » and a pachinko parlor all within walking distance. The area did not seem to have a massive influx of foreigners, so if you do not speak Japanese, the -
The hotel location is perfect, very near to Kamata Station. The bus station from Haneda Airport is just in front of the Kamata Station. Bus to Tokyo Disneyland is also very very near, about 5 minutes walk from hotel.
Don't worry about food. Restaurants are every where, with affordable value too. We didn't try hotel's food, though.
Family Mart is just a block away, next to Kamata East Exit.
There are more stuffs to see on the West Exit of Kamata Station. We bought our souvenirs in Sunrise walk.

I liked everything. Staff are extremely helpful, when it was raining
they loaned us umbrellas, when I was sick they provided medicine, every
time the cleaner saw us in the morning she wouldn't stop bowing

even helped fold it when they did the room cleaning. What more can I

The great location as the hotel is within walking distance of the Ueno station which has both the JR Keihin-Tohuku and Yamanote lines as well as the Ginza and Hibira subway lines. Ueno station is only 3 stations away from the Tokyo station. It makes getting around Tokyo a breeze. Within walking distance of the hotel are also many eating places around the Ueno vicinity.
The rooms are small as expected in Tokyo but it is very clean. Amenities in the room are more than sufficient.

We were doing a Michelin starred restaurant tour in Tokyo and the
manager of Customer Relation was extremely helpful. After a dozen emails
going back and forth, cancellation and reschedule, she mangaged to help
us to book some really fine restaurants. We couldn't ask for more.

Everything! This is my first (and only) stay in "riokan", so I can not compare it with other "riokans", but I really enjoyed "riokan experience" in Annex Katsutaro. Lovely, clean small hotel, with large, bright rooms by Japanese standard. The staff is very helpful and they speak good English. It is located in a nice, quiet environment close to shops, restaurants and about 10 minutes walk from the train station. The Nippori station is on the main "circle" line which takes you to Tokyo, Shibuya, Shinjuku, and other places of interest without the need to change the trains. The hotel has a nice breakfast option for reasonable price. We liked it a lot and if we
