The owner is a friendly Brit who is more than happy to share his experiences with guests. He sent out Google street view photos and a detailed map too so finding the place was a breeze. It's closest to Gotanno subway station, but the closest JR station (kita-senju) is a 20min scenic walk with only 1 turn, really easy to find.
Considering the price, it is really just a place to stay and felt like I was crashing at a mate's place.
