Nice big comfortable newly renovated rooms. Service staffs spoke English and were very helpful. 10 mins walk to JR Shinjuku station through the covered walkway, which had convenience stores, cafés and shops around. With airport shuttle, made it very convenient to get to / fro from airport. Convenience store within the hotel had food and drinks, which was very convenient. We booked a room for triple occupancy. The room 1869 was really huge for Japan standard. We had a nice view too. Room was spotlessly clean and location was really central. Lots of cafe, restaurants and convinience stores nearby. Staff was really helpful. Convenient as free shuttle to Disneyland was provided and tours can be booked in the lobby.
all reviews » 1. The best thing about Keio Plaza Hotel is the location. It's footsteps away from some of Tokyo's best shopping streets (which you must not miss at night!) and from Shinjuku's railway station, which takes you to almost all of the tourist attractions in Tokyo in a matter of minutes. 2. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Nice area with many restaurants, shops and bars. Room was a bit outdated but still comfortable enough. Breakfast is good and service is great. Close to underground and transport facilities. Airport limosine stops right in front of the hotels door. All good. The hotel located close to the central station, within walking distance of Yoyogi park, lots of different restaurants, shops, and district with nightlife Staff is very attentive and polite I got south tower and room was rather old, but clean and spacious. big rooms with extra bed, strong shower and bathroom amenities, general location, and easy access to subway&trains, convenience stores, inexpensive eateries, Keio and Odakyo dept store&supermarket, onsite Disney bus and Airport Limo bus stop. We were first allocated to a room in the South Tower of the hotel. The room was disgusting with old, dirty carpets and worn-out furniture, which was nothing more than an old three-star hotel room. We had to pay an additional charge to move to a refurbished, clean, 4-star room in the Main Tower. the breakfast is not included to the room prize and the price rather high: breakfast (buffet) - 2900 yen, the average price of dinner for one person-10 000 yen. And there is a a huge line before the entrance to the restaurant every morning. worn and grimy carpet, tired South tower decor. Despite the 6 night-stay, we were not allowed a 'late check-out' to coincide with our limousine bus arrival / flight schedule. Disappointed about not maximizing our stay due to lack of shuttle bus schedules and seats to go to and from Tokyo Disney Resort. No refund policy for unused breakfast tickets. Limited wifi connection to one device per room with complex password. The wifi got disconnected quickly if inactive for a few minutes. Had to request body lotion. Wifi is free , but found out on arrival that you need to request router , and 1st come , 1st serve bases. Not available on 1st request. After compaliing, they found one router for us.. No wifi internet available in hotel room. Rooms could use some updating. The lobby and appearance of the hotel were fantastic, but the rooms were only average for such a nice property. Internet was also very slow, but it worked (without a router, which some other reviews seem to indicate is necessary). They charge for the pool 2000 Yen per person which doesn't even take sunshine. It is almost all day in the shade. I end up paying 6000 Yen for no experience. Gym was very impressive and would have liked to be able to have a swim outside of summer months with an indoor pool. That's my only negative comment. The hotel is around 5 minutes walk from shinjuku station. But if you are deep inside shinjuku shopping district, it can be very tiring to return back as you may need around 15 minutes. Internet is slow and you must ask for a router. 1. hotel did not offer drinking water. 2. did not replenish some of the toiletries. 3. TV channels were very limited. The swimming pool is not free, and it was difficult to order a place to the Disneyland Shuttle. No free wifi in the rooms and hotel area. Almost nothing. I had requested a non-smoking room, but it was evident that previous guests had been smoking in the room. Restaurants (many) all too expensive, Compensated by those in the Shinjuku area, where you can find almost everything. Swimming pool not in operation - Restaurants are very expensive there - Hotel price for premium plaza room expensive. Not much options of tv channels. Walk quite far to metro station. Smoke in Non -smoking room. Some cleanliness faults... Over all - excellent !. Please provide free built in wifi in all rooms. Not highly luxurious. No direct underpass to shinjuku station. Tokyo rates are typically high, but, a superior room designation was a little hopeful. I have stayed before in their better rooms which are definitely first rate. Cosmetics not nice smelling, bed , pillows, blanket not so comfortable... Bed not soft, blanket not thick enough, pillows very soft. Very Poor furniture and old style Should renovate the rooms No lobby . The hotel is large hence there is always people queuing for checking and checkout and for having breakfast. Internet wifi in room. Inflexible. - Bad interment in the room. - no Internet in the lobby. - early check out at 11 and can not extend even to 12 unless you pay for each hour. Price of restaurants.
