I love the location - walking distance to Shibuya station - just behind Parco Shibuya, Starbucks and 24hr Family Mart across the road ... only short taxi trip from Airport bus drop-off hotels ... It's also super clean, the staff are friendly & have good English, free wi-fi is fast & easy to connect, the rooms - though small as all Tokyo hotel rooms are - are big enough to have a bit of hanging space; the bathroom is generously sized for Tokyo with a great, deep bathtub ... the decor i.
all reviews » Location was brilliant - Shibuya is a happening place . Starbucks next door and the biggest soccer shop we have ever seen . Easy access to metro , shops, lots of reasonably priced restaurants , and people watching galore . Room was lovely - It had everything you could need , and more . Clean , quiet , AND WI-FI :) Clean slippers every day , dressing gown ,kettle , AC and a bidet toilet. Who would want any more ?. Fantastic Good location for shopping. Walking distance to the train station for the Nex airport train & subways around Tokyo. Good value for money, good food at the restaurant plus many more small & affordable restaurants in this area. Since Tokyo is already really expensive, Hotel Shibuya is a great choice for a comfortable, clean and luxury-type hotel that is also affordable. I stay at the same hotel for up to 10 days at least twice a year for fashion week :) ... I'll be back again in March 2014. Nothing really - rooms were small , but had absolutely everything you could need. Minor comments. No room to store your suit cases in the room you have to walk around them all the time & not enough room to hang your cloths. Nothing that's worth mentioning. Small room was but for a solo traveler, I felt it was the perfect size. Relatively small for a typical hotel room but when you're in Tokyo, you should be out exploring instead of hanging out in the hotel room. A single bed and bathroom is all you need. Size of room was ridiculously small. Didn't even have enough floor space to do a few stretches. The room is small. It could do with more in-hotel food options and more English explanations on how to use the tv etc ... Sometimes announcements are made only in Japanese - for example I was there during a power outage and there was no explanation in how to get out of the rooms / floors made in English so I didn't know what was going on ... this could be quite dangerous if there was a fire etc. Nothing. Used the coin laundry on the basement floor once after a hiking trip outside Tokyo, but the clothes did not feel very clean afterwards. Staff are usually unwilling to help you do anything including call a taxi(takes them at least 15 minutes), offer recommendations, or help you purchase Shinkansen tickets. Considering the lack of concierge assistance, you might be better off staying somewhere cheaper. None. No outlook, facing into the hotel. A bit claustrophobic. A very small room. It was kinda hard to find. There was not enough English information in the room. Eg, how to operate the TV (the pamphlet was all in Japanese).
