  The location was excellent as we're the staff who were very helpful when I mistakenly threw some travel documentation into the hotel rubbish. They were genuinely happy when it was found.   There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which have bus going to the hakodate ropeway at a sceduled timing. The front desk staff - a lady was very helpful and flexible. My friend and I were early (by abt an hr) and she gave us a room even though check in is 3pm onwards. Just walk about 2 minutes from JR Station to get there and from there it takes just a minute to the Morning Market. The room is quite old but very neat and tidy. They have a big flat screen TV, green tea, hair dryer, Yukata and Obi set for changing clothes. The staff is very nice although we get here a bit late (8pm). Morerover, they can speak english quite well. I recommend it if you want some place which is good and has reasonable pr

  Run by husband and wife, Mori and Yoko, Clydesdale was simply charming. Comfortable rooms, super neat and tidy, and the set dinners are absolutely delicious! 5 courses for Y25,000. Much better option than the overrun resorts just up the street, highly recommend.

  The guest house was much better than I imagine from the picture and price. It was a big house where there're rooms for futon (Japanese bed) dorms. Futon was clean and fluffy. There are lockers in the room for keep your stuffs. The living room/ dining room was big and high ceiling so you can sit there and feel comfortable. It's a great minshuku suites for backpacker or any travelers planning to visit 網走Abashiri and 知床半島Shiretoko Peninsula （includes 根室Nemuro, 宇登呂Utoro, and 羅臼 Rausu areas）. 2. The house owner is very thoughtful -- he offers all the foods, snacks, and drinks for only 100 yens each. Very cheap and convenient to guests. Guests may cook in large kitchen also. 3. A large lobby for taking a rest and a nice environment to live.

  It was okay to compare with price we pay. We went there during high season so there is a bus stop in front of the pension. If there is no bus, the only way to get there is to take a taxi because it is quite far from JR Furano station. Good for budget-concerned travellers who just want a night to stay in Furano. - Nothing

  The place is very clean for the price paid. My husband left his car keys in the car boots. Owner helped to call automobile asso n get help. He can speak better English compared to staff manning Nissan or AA hotlines. Very helpful owner. - Though a bit far from town center and train station, it's quite convenient with bus stop and convenient store... what people say » near by. Room is nice and clean and quite spacious. Toilets though shared are clean and enough for everyone.

  The hotel couldn't be better situated (or better value) as it is just 5 minutes walk from the combined station and bus terminal which has a tourist office with plenty of maps and timetables for the public transport. NB: If you are flying to or from Wakkanai airport buses connect with ALL flights in and out with a one-way fare to downtown of 590... what people say » yen (as at July 2013). The hotel manager and staff made me very welcome and the hotel was excellent value for money. It's a "ryokan" type hotel whic - I arrived late at night, when I arrived the owner (?) of this place was incredibly friendly and even went so far as to carry my extremely heavy luggage up to my room. The room was unusually spacious for Japanese standards, even larger than in most more expensive accomodations I have used in Japan so far, it had everything you need and (important in Japan) a very cozy and soft futon. I have slept in many places in Japan, and especially the cheap places often have incredibly uncomfortable futons,
