  The Front Desk staff were very courteous and helpful, especially on my group's check-out day. We had a group of 16 adults with 16 bags and had to transfer to Shin-Osaka to catch our bullet train to Nagoya. I believe his name was Mr. Sakaguchi who called for a quotation for 2 jumbo taxis.   The hotel is beautiful, fancy, very clean and the room was big and comfortable. The staff was excellent, could speak English very well and was always helpful. They have directions printed out to major attractions and can explain every step of the trip very well. The staff also gives good advice on where to go and what to do in Osaka. First night in Japan, straight from Kensai Airport, it was the best choice for our fairly late arrival. On our third visit we were told they had upgraded us to a larger room, which also had a larger and -for us- a more comfortable bed (most beds in Japan are fairly hard). A very significant mall and department stores directly across the road from the hotel. - The hotel was located in the heart of Osaka's shopping districts. The staff was V. helpful in getting us around the city and to outlying areas by bus, train and subway. The room, semi-double, was V. comfortable and cleaned daily. When we needed extra lighting in the room they obliged. The hotel does have Wi-Fi (other reviewers have said it does not.)

  Excellent location,easy access to train & subway station, to the Kuromon fresh food market, shopping arcades, lots of good restaurants around. Very friendly and helpful staffs. The room is spacious, clean and well equipped especially a washer/ dryer, like a small home. When ever I go to Osaka I'll definitely choose to stay in Fraser Residence... what people say » Nankai Osaka. Moreover, Kyoto, Kobe & Nara are near Osaka. This time I stayed there for 6 nights. - Location is exceptional, very near to Takashimaya, Dotonbori, Kurumon market and more. By taking Exit 4 at Namba station, follow the pathway leading to Takashimaya and walk towards Namba Park the cross the road, will get you to hotel. Discounted tickets to kaiyuan Aquarium and Hankyu tickets to KIX are sold at the reception. Staff are polite and helpful. We had a great time there and best of all, there is s washer cum dryer in the apartment.
