Located directly above the Shinsaibashi metro station,close and central to most malls and tourist areas. Comfortable room with good amenities, bed, bathroom and view. A interesting neighbourhood surrounding the Nikko with many food options and nearby "family mart " for pre-packaged meals for touring. Front desk staff and concierge helpful as required. A very significant mall and department stores directly across the road from the hotel.
all reviews » The hotel was located in the heart of Osaka's shopping districts. The staff was V. helpful in getting us around the city and to outlying areas by bus, train and subway. The room, semi-double, was V. comfortable and cleaned daily. When we needed extra lighting in the room they obliged. The hotel does have Wi-Fi (other reviewers have said it does not.). Staff were kind and hotel is very clean. The location was good and . near most interesting places you want to go especially that the subway station is just in its basement 2 level. It cost is mid price compared to few other Osaka hotels but good value for comfort and elegance it presents. The location of the hotel is fantastic - within the vicinity of the shopping areas. The staff are very helpful especially the staff who help us with the luggage. We also like the convenience of getting a coach to the airport from your hotel. Location convenient. Easy access to one metro station. On a main street where there are lots of shopping stores/departments. 15-20 minutes walk to Nankai station where you can take express train to Kansai Airport. Location was excellent. Food places surronds the hotel vicinity . Room is big and we got a great view facing daimaru. Concierge was very helpful. Checkin check out process was a breeze. The basic lighting in the room is a small desk lamp, weird lighting behind the headboard and 2 pinpoint lights, one on the bed, the other near the desk. Even together they are useless for reading. But, as a positive, we asked for and received a lamp that rested on the headboard and threw enough light to read by. Nothing in particular. No coffee in room, Japanese tea only. They only wanted to use an air refresher to spray the room. After two requests, they finally arranged for a change of room. Staff can't speak and understand English well. Some staffs have good manner. Some staffs are just impolite. Too expensive over the weekend. Same price for single and double room!!. No free wifi but only cable internet which is not good since we now hold devices which connects on wifi instead of cable. The room size was decent but bed size was small for 2, i think it was a queen bed. The staff was quite business like polite but not super friendly compared to my stay at Citadines Kyoto. aircondition in the room on summer season is not cool enought. room and beds are too small for a couple.
