Hotel Consort located near to Noshikajima-minamigate subway station(M14). It is just located opposite the 'exit 2' of this subway station (less than 2 minutes walk). We purchased 'Haruka(return) + Icoca' package and took Haruku raiway from Kansai Airport and stop at Shin-Osaka Station. From there we change to subway line by using Icoca card and took subway(Minosuji line) at Shin-Osaka Subway Station(M13) to Noshikajima-minamigate subway station(M14). If you are carrying luggage, i suggested not.
all reviews » The location of the hotel is great - only one stop away from Shin-Osaka station. There's great little restaurants just outside the hotel if you're keen for a cheap and tasty meal. The room is very budget- friendly. It has everything you need and is very clean. I felt safe here. I would recommend anyone on a budget or anyone needing last minute accommodation to stay here. The location of the hotel is very startegic which is near to the subway station and just 1 stop to arrive shin-osaka station. I would say the hotel is worth staying with the rate that they offerred. Many supermarkets and restaurants/bars just around the corner and most of them are walking distance. -Conveniently located close to subway midosuji line, Nishikajima- minamigata station and also Hankyu railway -availability of grocery stores and restaurants around the corner -room is cleaned. Daily housekeeping available -free wifi in room -coin operated dryers and washing machines. location-very near to the subway station easy to get to osaka station or to shin osaka. staff very helpful, they can understand English but only little bit speak in English. I'm still staying in Hotel consort when I do this review. hotel was clean and comfortable room. Staff were friendly and helpful despite our lack of Japanese. Within reasonable walking distance from Shin-Osaka, however the subway station across the street is very convenient and only a few stops from Shin- Osaka. Wifi was free and easy to use. Value for money. Everything is fine. Don't expect too much coz the rate is not too much. I was satisfied with staying here. Just the corner of the station, easily access to train to explore the city and Osaka vicinities. Only 3mins walk to Nishinakajima subway station. It took me 10mins walk to shin-osaka station. Besides some facilities are not providee. Like iron machine. Internet at room not as good as it should be. The air-cond is not so cold. As we come during summer, I expect the room will be cold, but it is not as what I hope. The room was very hot - it would be terrific if instructions to operate aircon/heat were available in English. That said, a word to reception had the issue resolved very quickly. It is better for the staff to know more English, though it is enough for communication. There is no Breakfast. The room was a bit small. Too near red light area, pillows were abit hard, rooms slightly too small. Very pedantic house cleaning that would almost chase you out of the room at 9:30 in the morning with a big sign up saying please let the front desk know if you plan to be back before 3pm. I am on vacation I would like to sleep late sometimes. JR Shin-Osaka station is a 15 min walk (Other non-JR stations are very nearby though). Room to small, price is proper. The room is too narrow. Although the location it is not bad (just in front of the subway station and Hankyu railway station) the surrounding area is not so nice as other hotels in the area you may find for similar prices... The air con in the room is too hot, the room is a bit small and quite old fashioned for design. The room key is too heavy to carry. Very small room. Vicinity can be a little dodgy at night. Old carpet in the room, cleaning staff put our night cloth over the television. Air-condition is not enough. One of the bed felt lop-sided when lying on it Not too sure why they advertised their Wi-Fi with the SSID and password outside their front door. Could be related but couldn't get wifi connection at all in my room. Resorted to mobile data. Rooms a bit dark, could be cleaner. the room smells like smoke and we are in a non smoking room, not enough pillows and the pillows are not comfortable. Rooms are old and beds are too soft. Very easy to get locked out of room because of old door lock system. bad language communication . rooms were too small and needed redecoration.
