Definitely not my first stay at a five star hotel but Tokyo Palace is indeed one of the best I have experienced. Attention to details is key to Palace hotel, try and you will understand what I mean. -

I just loved this hotel. It was the first hotel we stayed in Japan. The room was small but lovely! Our bathroom was great and everything was very clean- as everything is in Japan. They even provided facial treatment products for the ladies. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they printed maps for us and helped us with everything. Compared to other Five star hotels in Tokyo that I have stayed in, Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo is the best so far. It has a wonderful and convenient location, a luxurious and comfortable room. The service levels were the best, every staff catered to my every problem, they even accompanied me to the train station to help me out.
I would recommend this hotel to any traveler visiting Tokyo!

The Hotel Okura is well maintained and a traditional Japanese atmosphere. The Staff is super friendly and courteous.
Bed was comfortable, the bathroom, small but clean and with everything you might need. Very clean in general. Decoration of the Hotel is a minimalistic Japanese style.
