Sleep well, and the equipment is fine at this hotel. They will write
your name in front of the hotel, that makes me feel good. One thing bad
is they does not have wifi in your room. In short, I will suggest this
hotel to my friend and any of you !!

This was one of the best hotels we stayed in Japan. The location was very easy, we just took the subway to reach Kokusaikaikan and the directions on the subway took us directly to the hotel. It was a very comfortable and nice room, with free internet. The buffet downstairs was very good for dinner and the surrounding environment was very nice and green. As my older daughter was in the room one day, they didn' t have oppurtinity to clean the room, so they presented us 500 JPY gift check for it.

Excellent American-style service (ie. help with luggage, staff always ready to assist), plus an incredibly good location, VERY close to station! (And also just across from a Post Office, coffee shop and handy 7/11-style convenience store). Room was larger than I'm used to when staying in Japan, and kept very clean. Very nice hotel. Clean, quiet, elegant and comfortable. Unlike most of the hotels we've visited in Japan, it is rather spacious and with a touch for detail. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they speak english pretty well. In fact, while we were in Kyoto we lost our digital camera, when the police found it, the hotel emailed us. When booking a room I asked for a quiet room, and this request has been dealt with in a most perfect manner possible - the view was over a cemetery. Hotel location is absolutely perfect, in pedestrianized Rokkaku-dori, just off the busy Kawaramachi-dori, with hotel being well shielded from traffic by a large UniQlo shop. The room was excellent, not too small, clean and nicely decorated. A beautiful an relaxing place to stay, good for holidays and for a business trip.

A perfect hotel if you'd like to get away from the japanese business hotels with the small rooms. If you are traveling as a family or if you are older, this is the best choice in Kyoto as far as I'm concerned.
