location is very nice, close to most of most-go place in a walk distance !! Transport is also very convenient, you just need to jump up the bus from Komatsu at drop at the stop 1 min walk away from the hotel. A very decent department store is just on the opposite of this hotel and you can get very high C/P food when it is near closing hour !. Great location near the garden, castle, market and many restaurants. We didn't have to bus anywhere! Breakfast was plentiful and had lots of variety. Wifi was good. A bit far from the station, but they offer a free shuttle bus to the hotel. Staff were super friendly and even helped me get back a prescription I left after we checked out.

Central location, easy access to Kenrokuen gardens and wonderful cafe near the canal. The place was as generally expected having stayed at the Kumamoto branch,the rooms, facilities and breakfast were good however it was disappointing in a few ways - see dislikes (which were not an issue in Kumamoto). Very conveniently placed close to major attractions, thus a bit far from station (but they have free shuttles, not widely advertised). The public smoking area was near the IT section and the gaps in the structure allowed the smoke to come into the area which defeats the purpose of have a separate non smoking area. Poor brekfast (free, however). Nothing. The only problem, here and in Japan in general, is language. Some receptionists don't speak one word of English, and yet they are young....I Am amazed. English may not be a major subject at school. Breakfast in Hotel is under average!. Room is really small, but of course, it is survivable. Hard beds, western breakfast not very good. Nothing. Far from the JR Kanazawa station, by bus 200 yen and by cab 1050 yen. Late check in and early departure times; virtual lock out during the day "to facilitate room cleaning",only Japanese food. For breakfast. - Room incredibly small, we could litteraly not open the suitcase - Checkin/out hours unconvenient: 4pm and 10am - Very old style furnished rooms - Bathroom in plastic and very bad made (same water system for shower and sink) - View on a wall (1m close) - Breakfast poor quality. Good value for money. Nice staff, descent breakfast. We would return immediately !.
