  Loved this hotel! It is super close to the Peace Memorial Park and just down the road (3 min walk) from the A-Dome, which is only a 100 yen tram ride away from the train station.   Central and 1 block away from the Memorial park. Its 150yen ride from the station by tram and then a 5 minute walk. We used taxi so we don't have to find the hotel and lug our luggages. Breakfast was a little disappointing though, we payed a small amount of money for a buffet breakfast but the food was stone cold.   The room was great! I stayed in a twin bed room and it was spacious, with a beautiful and classy design. The beds were very confortable, the amenites were good and they had free wifi in the room, which is great! Even their toilet was the most high-tech I have seen in a hotel in Japan. Granvia really looks like a 5 star hotel and the price were great! The best deal I made - Got off the Shinkansen, walked out the doors of the station and I was there. Excellent. Staff was helpful in giving directions to tourist sites and provided maps as well. Checked out early in the morning and the hotel stored our luggage until we came back from touring at 3 pm. Then it was quick and easy to walk for a minute and be back in the station, waiting for our next train. I would highly recommend this hotel.

  This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The room was on the small side, but most are in Japan. There was more than enough room for all our luggage and the two of us. The bed and pillows were amazing! So comfortable, that i will always look out for Mitsui branded hotels from now on.   Room size was ok. Felt comfortable enough for us. Location was just fine. Peacepark and everything within was at walking distance. Starbucks was close and there was also a very big shopping street in the neigborhood at 10 minutes walking. Staff was very friendly. When we left we were in a hurry to catch our train, but we forgot to reserve a taxi.... what people say » As it was raining one of the staff offered to hail a taxi for us. Within a few minutes we were on our way to the airport :) Further, more in general. - Excelent value for money. Ultra comfortable, biggest room and bathroom we had in our month-stay in Japan. Staff speaks fluent English and is very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, around 10 minutes walking from Peace Museum and Hondori Street (Shopping area with quit nice nightlife). In front of an Electric Train Station that goes to Hiroshima Station. Highly recommendable.

  The hotel is older and the furnishings and bathrooms are probably as old as the building but everything was clean, functional, and comfortable. Our family of five stayed in a triple room (very roomy) and double room (not so roomy) next door to each other. I thought the price was very reasonable. Useful washing and drying machines, and vending machines in the reception. Staff is helpful and location ok.
