  The location was excellent as we're the staff who were very helpful when I mistakenly threw some travel documentation into the hotel rubbish. They were genuinely happy when it was found.   There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which have bus going to the hakodate ropeway at a sceduled timing. The front desk staff - a lady was very helpful and flexible. My friend and I were early (by abt an hr) and she gave us a room even though check in is 3pm onwards. Just walk about 2 minutes from JR Station to get there and from there it takes just a minute to the Morning Market. The room is quite old but very neat and tidy. They have a big flat screen TV, green tea, hair dryer, Yukata and Obi set for changing clothes. The staff is very nice although we get here a bit late (8pm). The kitchen is fully furnished, we had breakfast in the morning sitting in a very nice veranda. An Hakodate is a place to visit. Finally, the hotel is extremely well located, in between the station and the historical district.

She helped us find a gasoline station that was opened at night (apparently most gasoline stations close at 1900hrs) and she even recommended an excellent seafood restaurant.   Very good hotel and value for money. We requested for a baby cot as the room was rather small. The staff came up to our room to ask if we would like to upgrade foc to a much bigger room as we had a toddler with us. This was really impressive. Location is near to many eateries.
