  If I could give La Torre 6 stars for staff & location, I would! Signora Lucia made sure she drew us up a complete tour tailor-made to our available time in Verona, along with excellent recommendations for gelato, dinner, etc. She is an absolute gem. Nice breakfast (including lovely pastries from nearby bakery), good-sized room, very clean, only 1 flight up (but lift available - Everything about the B&B was perfect. In the heart of the old city, the B&B is ideally situated just off the main shopping street and only a few minutes walk from the arena, Piazza Erbe, Romeo and Juliet's houses. The B&B rooms cannot be faulted. They are furnished to the highest standard and with great style. They are well equipped down to the tiniest detail! Breakfast was outstanding and nothing was too much for the adorable Signora Lucia. A truly amazing stay. We will return!

  We had a wonderful 2 nights in the Residenza Madonna apartments. It was a really sweet cosy place & excellent value for money. Our apartment was a really lovely mix of old Verona & modern facilities. Fabio, the owner met us at the front door & showed us around before leaving us to it. We bought fresh homemade r - The apartment cannot be more central! It is amazing, cozy and very posh. For those who are thinking that some hotel can be better because of a restaurant or support from a reception are wrong. When you go down stairs from the apartment there are a lot of restaurants for any taste plus the guy Julio who is meeting guests is better that any receptionist in any hotel. He is helping with everything and if you call him he can be there any minute;) thanks a lot for an amazing stay;)

  A charming old property and one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in. The owner was delightful and couldn't do enough for guests. The cleanliness was exemplary and could teach some 4 star hotels a thing or two. A thoughtful touch was the small room which provided free water, coffee and tea. The garden, where breakfast was served is lovely and breakfast was varied and a full buffet available. There is a separate door to access the rooms so you can come in late without disturbing the owner. Free wifi in rooms.

  Location is right in the centre near Arena. The hotel is very cute in an ancient building. Two stylish old ladies at the reception ( the owners I guess ) were very friendly. They gave us a discount while we were paying as we missed our breakfast. And we were asked to pay at check out. The price via booking com was pretty low for a place like that.... what people say » Excellent place. - This hotel can compare very well with some 4-star ones I have been to and when I asked the Management why it was classed only as a 2-star I was told it was because they did not have space for a lounge! Bureaucracy!!!
