Great apartment in nice area, great location - bus stop across road and taxi only 10E. We had a car & found the location easy enough to find- car parking no problem onsite. The apartment was really spacious and comfortable. Staff were fab, really helpful. Breakfast not included but available if needed. There is a supermarket, pastry shop and tabacchia nearby. Wifi available at low cost and works well. W had a wonderful time and would love to go back! Verona is a wonderful city.
all reviews » First the staff were very friendly, approachable and helped me out a lot Second the rooms were a delight post staying in rather shabby rooms in rest of Italy - clean, had a rather long bathtub, loved the balcony, greenery to look forward to Location - not in hustle bustle but a little secluded, nice simple neighbourhood. We liked being able to stay at an apartment with a balcony and all the facilities needed to rest, recover, walk and visit Verona. We felt very lucky to book on line and receive such good directions from the bus company to get to the Residence. Great facilities and rooms with view on the River Close to the city centre: It takes 10 min. to get to the city centre by bus. Or walk home after dinner / party (also just 20 Min.) Staff is really nice and helpful. yes i liked it the it was beside the river and every morning befor go to the fair possible to wale or run and it is 20 minute wale to the coty center the room are big and comfort and very good for the wamity. Staff great, really helpful. Did the silly thing of dropping a credit card and they contacted us to let us no. Bus stop across the rd to town only 10 mins. Supermarket down the rd. beautiful view. Setting just outside of the central area of Verona was a lovely surprise - it was within walking distance - birds song and greenery made a lovely change to busy central districts. Everything is good! Balcony was good to be able to sit outside and have lunch. Not much. But not terrible bad either. While the apartment is outside the old city, it's great if you have a car and is acessible. The place is connected only by bus and the service was not very reliable but that may be more due to the festival season. Nothing. It's not near the old city but buses are frequent. Wifi not free in rooms! This is not clear from website. Can easily hear neighbours talking which can be annoying if they fight &/or talk loudly as ours did. Would not let these things stop me staying. Well, location is good an not very good at the same time )) All green and quiet but a bit distant from the center. Buses stop service at 7pm. Still at walking distance - sure not 20 min as written, but 30-35 is ok. Consider it as minor minus. TV would better have not only italian channels )). It was a little too far to travel on foot anywhere into the city (i.e. city center) or even the train station, and it was therefore necessary to secure a taxi because the bus lines and schedules were erratic. 25 minute walk to city centre but this is compensated for by a pleasant riverside location with lawns and trees. The distance to the touristy area but we knew that going in. The bus service was right out the door so easy bussing to any areas. The Breakfast was included but wasnt anything special. Poor tasting coffee. extra price for internet. pillows and bed bit hard, also cushions on sofa/chair. Verona has not any night public transport. Nothing. the hotel does not have a restaurant. It's too far from the centre (40 min on foot). Location is not near the centre but this should not be seen as a negative. Very poor a/c in a hot day. Location is too far away from main attractions and complicated to arrive. - too far from the city centre - bad value for money.
