Monica, the owner, is a sublime hostess. She is warm and welcoming and could not have tried harder to make my family feel at home and benefit from our trip with local information. The location is good for the city of Verona, the surrounding countryside and Lake Garda. The hotel is clean and stylish and the breakfast was imaginative and beautifully prepared. You will need a car to get to it and to get about but Monica was again a wonderful source on information on how to achieve this.
all reviews » Great place and great host. It's close to Verona (10-15 min drive) and a great value for money. My room was large and of high quality. The hotel is on a farm, which immerses you in nature and quiteness, but still a very short ride away from the center of Verona. The host was extremely friendly and always available to help you. She gave me very valuable advice regarding Verona, restaurants, parking, etc. Easy to find, even at night, using google maps. Beautiful building converted from a horse stable. Comfortable and spacious room kept spotlessly clean. Monica, the owner, waited outside the door to welcome me. She was extraordinarily warm and helpful, ready to give directions and advice without being intrusive. The reception I experienced here was by far the warmest and most welcoming of all the places I stayed on this vacation. I will be back again some day. Grazie Monica!. Monica offered us a very warm welcome to her agrotourismo. While she speaks english, she took the time to speak with us in Italian (slowly) since she new we were still learning. Our dog enjoyed the huge yard and cool tile floors. I can't say enough good things about this home- stay. As long as you are travelling by car, don't hesitate to book this room!. We (3 kids including a 4-month old) stayed there for 4 nights... Monica, the host, was excellent. Very nice person with a lot of traveling advices for us. Family room was in decent size. Breakfast was great... and we could enjoy the lovely sunrise view right at the front door... Overall experience was great. The hostess, Monica, is great. Located out of the city but still accessible. Quiet get away Monica is such a nice host and takes great care of her quest. There was nothing that I didn't like. I think it's valuable for people to know that this agrotourismo is close (mileage-wise) to Verona's city center, but is up a very narrow mountain road. I'm happy that we were traveling by car on this vacation. It's in the middle of a mountain area. Takes some time to drive through narrow road to get there. The road to her place is narrow and in need of repair. The drive up the mountain on narrow winding roads was fun to me, however some might find it a little daunting. First time going up should be in the day time. The access road.
