  This hotel has recently been updated to include several "green" features as well as traveler conveniences. The hotel is computer wired to control use of electricity and a/C. If you open a window or door, your a/c shuts off. They can see which window you have open from their computer in the reception area.   We loved staying in this gracious palazzo. Very friendly staff who treated us like family. nothing was too much trouble. I also liked the location, away from the main tourist area but only 5 minutes walk away. The garden is also wonderful and we eat breakfast out in the sunshine each day. The staff and management treated us like family friends rather than paying guests and it was one of the friendliest hotels I have stayed. Nothing was too much trouble and there were many little extras provided free of charge, which only added to the pleasure. The room was wonderful, full of atmosphere and beautifully appointed. I would recommend the hotel to any of my friends without hesitation.
