  Easy to find, Staff was very helpful and aided us getting to the room, which was located in a separate building. Very helpful getting our bags to the room, which was no easy task as I was travelling for three weeks and required vacation and work clothes! Great location close to St. Mark's square and other attractions. Staff was very helpful in o... what people say » ur checkout process offering to sotre our bags if we needed for a few hours and things like that. - The hotel was in a very good position and was easy to find, our standard double room was a good size and very quiet at night and the the en suite bathroom was stylish and immaculate. All the staff were suberb; they spoke good english, they smiled and they could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was excellent and exactly what we wanted - lots of choice and hot and cold options.

  The rooms were beautifully decorated and the ambience of a former VenetianPalace was very elegant. The Staff was most friendly and accomodating. - Very friendly and professional staff. Hotel was very clean and well-equipped. Good location. Excellent all round!

  Liked everything about this hotel. Calm location away from the tourist hassle and just 5­-7 min walk from piazza San Marco. May be a bit far from the train station but for us it was not a problem, walking through Venice is a pleasure of its own. Besides you can always take a vaporetto which stops nearby. The rooms are big, warm, clean, nicely deco... what people say » rated and very cosy. Breakfast was basic but ok (ham, cheese, cornflakes). In overall, good value for money we paid. - Very nice hotel. The incheck was very fast and the night receptionist was very helpfull. the room was very clean and the breakfast was also fine. We liked the hotel very much.

  We booked Albergo Bonvecchiati but were transferred to the sister Hotel 1 min away Palazzo Bonvecchiati. This Hotel is a 4 star but was a 5 star by our standards. The staff were the best we've ever met, the hotel is brand new and modern, so beautiful and very well located. Albergo Bonvecchiati is more antique looking and seems very nice as well but... what people say » we didn't get a chance to see it. Very pleased! - the hotel was central to everything! We loved the location and the big breakfast. The room was small but I was prepared for that after reading the reviews. We went just before easter and got a great price - I would not have paid the standard rate during peak season - too expensive and too many tourists. Overall, a brilliant holiday. Glad I picked the Albergo Bonvecchaiti.

  Our room (205) was fantastic, it this was on the recently modernisedside of the hotel and was a superior double. The room was very spacious,and the bed was huge, and comfy. The bedroom/living area had two largewindows overlooking a small canal which was lovely. The stunningbathroom had a bath big enough for two! We would definitely recommend this accommodation for the location alone, but the room was also big and comfortable with all the amenities we needed.
