We spent 2 nighst in Hotel Tre Archi. Very easy to find, nice rooms andstaff, and good location. Cannaregio is maybe the best district inVenice: it's close to the Center (either on foot or by vaporetto), butthere're a lot of cheap shops, supermarkets and charming restaurants.Although, on our last day I fell into the water, but I think it's notthe Hotel's fault:D:D. There was a flood just a day before our arrival. We called up to the hotel and they asked whether we wanted to cancel our booking. They also said that despite flood the hotel had no problems and they were looking forward to their guests to arrive. We decided go and stay their. No we do not regret about this decision and can recommend the hotel to everybody.

Very nice, very helpful and friendly, nice location, typical Venetian, we would go back (tomorrow!). It has a very good location, friendly staff, good breakfast, nice interier. It is clean. The hotel is in a quiet, ideal location--close to a boat stop and many sights but without the tourist crowds.located on a quiet canal close to the train station, only 5-10 minutes walk from the heart of Venice,. It was a nice hotel but no elevator accomodations for guests. Staff very helpful. Good location!. It was conveniently situated in a quiet area with a vaporetto stop immediately outside. It was close to a number of shops and restaurants. Mosquitos. There was great amount of water all over the floor after having a shower. there could be a little more selection for the breakfast. In Rome and Florence breakfast included meats, cheeses and eggs. The breakfast was lacking. Every morning it was the same--cold cereal, yogurt and jams and processed cheese--nothing fresh, not even the bread. Surely, a three-star hotel should at least have fresh fruit or hard-boiled eggs or a cheese platter. air conditioning was ineffective, we were in one of the rooms beside reception which was quite noisy,. Their is no elevator in this hotel so if you have to go to the 2nd flooryou will have to lug up all of your own luggage up 58 stairs by yourselfas well as everytime you want to leave the hotel and come back in whichmakes it well over 100 stairs. Not good for people with travel luggage.One other very important fact you will need to know about this hotel isthat they will charge you cash. Breakfast was very limited.If you get a room on 1 st level towards the canal, ( like we had) there are no views at all because there are shutters locked on to the windows. We shared our room with a number of mosquitos and were both badly bitten. We spoke to a receptionist at about 4pm who assured us that the situation would be dealt with but on return a few hours later at 10.30pm nothing had been done. We spoke to another receptionist who provided us with a spray. We sprayed the room ourselves and had to sit in reception for about half an hour afterwards.
