The apartment was very close to the Strada Nouva as stated in the website. It was a nice, clean and comfortable apartment. The staff at Grimaldi Apartments were pleasant and helpful. The Ca'd'ro water bus stop was about 5 minutes walk or less. I would go back to this apartment the next time I am at Venice. Anna and Lorena were fantastic - very warm, and the quality of theaccommodation was excellent. They had thought of everything, and evenhad some biscuits and coffee ready for us. The location was superb - westayed in the San Marco apt and my parents in the Casanova one.

The appartment was spacious, 1 bedroom with lots of storage closets and one living room, spacious enough for 4 people (2 adults 2 kids in our case). Anna answered all our questions and was very helpful. it was a fantastic base to see venice,location was excellent,right beside vaporetta stop and a well stocked supermarket.Anna met us at stop and brought us to the apartment and was very helpful and provided us with lots of information.The location, but mainly being met by Anna at Rialto Stop. All thismade it easy to find and we saved energy and anxiety. I will berecommending Grimaldi to my Travel Agent and friends. You made Veniceeasy. Thank you. No wine glasses is the only thing.The washroom fan gives off a very bad smell. Very little hand soap. The only disadvantage was the second floor location with a number of steps but there are steps all over Venice which have to be negotiated with suitcases. the single beds were tiny and not overly appropriate for 3 adults.. but it was still awesome!!. It is missing a sofa for relaxing on, only having a dining setting by the tv. Also a long walk from the train station so gives you little choice but to go by vaporetto (at 7 euro per person). a little bit dark at night. The entranceway and stair up to the appartment needs to be refreshed but the appartment itself is great. We stayed for three days and nights and had only 3 towels between us which were never changed. A bit expensive. We would like to suggest to replace the beds(matrasses).We didn't sleepvery well. Also more towels would be better.Very nice apartment for 2 to 4 people, but a more comfortable sofa to relax in after a busy day would have been nice. There could be more detailed information on how to dispose of your garbage. There appeared to be different ways to deal with glass and other items which was not explained.It was rather dark insight, and more lighting may have improved this a little. The shower unit. We found it was impossible to adjust the cold/hot water. It would either be extremely hot or cold. Easy for you to fix it. Also, to some extend, cleanliness could be improved.

A member of staff will meet you at the water-bus stop closest to the apartment you have chosen, will escort you to the accommodation, and will provide you with important information for your stay. No guests aside from the ones mentioned in the booking are allowed to stay in the apartments. Smoking is forbidden in all apartments. The property reserves the right to refuse entrance to any additional guests exceeding the number of guests written on the reservation. A first set of bed linen and towels is included in the rate. Additional costs: Please note that late check-in is available at a surcharge of EUR 40 from 20:00 until 23:00. After 23:00 late check-in is only possible upon prior confirmation by the property at a surcharge of EUR 80. Please note that on 24 and 31 December the establishment will not be able to accept any arrivals in the apartment after 15:00. On 25 December and 1 January no arrivals can be accepted.
