The host was very helpful and welcoming and the view from the BandB is sensational. I highly recommend this BandB as it within walking distance of St Marks Sq and the Rialto. Absolutely the best BandB I've stayed in. The rooms are massive. I would stay here again and again. Great location, staff and room quality. great view from two of the rooms, same as the Danielli. The women at the desk were very pleasant. Elegant room, modern bath. The room was very well maintained. The bathroom was very modern, which was a great surprise.Superb location on the promenade with magnificent view over S. Marco Canal and St. Giorgio Isle. 10 min walk to Piazza S.Marco. Very friendly and helpful stuff even if there is little of understanding of English. Good location - near Arsenale and Via Garibaldi, 15min from San Marco. Lovely room - spacious, recently reburbished and tastefully furnished. Friendly staff.very nice hotel staff, the familly suite is quite big, with a large bathroom. The hotel is about 15 minutes from St Mark's square which made itaccessible to that side of the city yet quieter as there were no boatsand traders outside the hotel. It also had a sea view and great viewtowards the entrance to the Grand Canal. The owner was very helpful eventhough we new little of each others language.The breakfast ... 3 floors up for luggage. The water pressure in bathroom was a bit low, and the water heating did not work accurately while using the shower. Standard room is very small 3mx2m, but on the plus side with a bathroom half the size of a room.Almost perfect. Maybe could have done with tea/coffee-making facilities, but we survived! Stairs were good exercise. unfortunately, our room didnt have the view of the sea. Couple of things needed reporting; light on the stairwell and blockedsink which I think they should have been aware of but this was not abig issue and was sorted out quickly. Breakfsts are not great as theyare provided by the cafe/bar under the bandB. However the breakfastprovided on the last morning was in our room due to early flight; thiswas much better. There was a problem in the reservation of the room with the vue on the"Grand Canal" : instead, we have been given a small room with a view ona grey wall, without a clear explanation !!!! And furthermore, nodiscount !!!!. th lights in the hall-way going up the stairs should urgently be fixed, they didn't work! Check-out at 11a.m. is not very comfortable, late check-out wasn't possible.
