The staff were very friendly and helpful. We even came 30 min late to breakfast the first morning and they said it was no problem, and even brought us a warm croissant from the kitchen. The staff was very nice, the room clean and warm and confortable. The breakfast was enough for all tastes.Very clean and comfotable hotel. We visited the main islands of venice, getting there by the water boatwas very easy, the stop is 5 mins walk from the hotel. We also went tothe beach, also a 5 min walk from the hotel.We were given a room with agigantic private sun terrace and sun loungers which was exellent, theonly room like this in the hotel (room 43).

Breakfast. i wanted a smokers room didnt smoke in my room it was raining most of the time in my last two days i discovered that i have a small veranda most of the time i used the hotels summer garden to smoke was nice tables on them fresh flowers to sit in the open air to smoke while you hear the nightingales sings. Closeness to the vaporetto port, staying on the Lido was great. vicino all'approdo del traghetto . The location is extremely convenient to Venice, being only 4 stops on the Vaporetta to St Mark's Square. The breakfast spread did not have any fruit.immediate payment on arrival - but I was charged in GB pounds on my credit card when I had booked in Euros! so the hotel used its own exchange rate and so raised the room charge - like an extra tax!! I should simply have been charged directly in Euros on my card - the behaviour makes one feel slightly conned. If I had noticed I could have questioned it at the time but I was tired. One night was noisy outside, but with windows closed it was ok.The shower room could be bigger. room was a little small, there were some faults in the bathroom (ie shower broken) and the noise of the key/electric system meant we needed to take the key out to sleep....but these are very, very minor observations rather than complaints!. Very poor breakfast. Could not turn off the very slight hiss of the ventilation system. We liked the hotel very much, the only concern some guests may experiance is on arrival we were informed you had to be back to the hotel by 10.30pm or else you would not be able to enter the hotel, ok as long as you have not booked a thearte or in the summer months, maybe they extend the time in summer i would ask if they may cause a problem. inability to book single nights. the room is a little small. The breakfast was not exactly excellent.breakfast poor especially on monday as they only do ham and cheese at weekends !!!!. The room was very small hardly any room to move around the bed I am sure it was meant to be a single room.outlets and the size of the room. in the bathroom around the shower must be a higher baricade because the curtain is short the water runs all around the bathroom floor evenif they say you can throw the dirty towels on the floor i dont find it hgynic. Staff at reception could have been friendlier. It is just too expensive (200 Euro/night) for a pretty small room. stanza e bagno di misura minima, va bene per una notte. The room was totally inadequate even for a weekend break. The bathroom and shower facilities are extremely cramped and dangerous and at one stage I slipped trying to shower in very cramped conditions and sustained a serious injury. The heating system is very noisy with a shut off system which turns off every five minutes.The cleaning ladies woke us up at around 9am every morning, the noise they made outside our room was what caused it. We found some hair in the shower when we checked in. During breakfast we were forced to wait long before served with cutlery and coffee. The room was about the size of a closet.
