  Great hotel. The breakfasts were fantastic with wide variety of food, staff behind the desk friendly and helpful, cleaning staff friendly, rooms spotlessly cleaned and made everyday, close to train. Trieste is quite small so nothing really too far. I paid the same per night in Rome, Hotel Altavilla, and comparing Hotel Milano to there is like a 5 ... what people say » to a 1 star. If i ever return to trieste, without any doubt i will book in at Hotel Milano. - Surprisingly very Comfortable rooms, although lobby and buulding itself seemed to be rather old and little untidy. Not luxury but very good hotel with helpful staff.

  The hotel was very nice inside and the rooms were very clean. It is only a 10 minute bus ride from the city center--the bus station and train station--with the bus stop being 100 yards away from the hotel. The hotel staff was very willing to help us with any questions we had about getting around the city.   Well we liked it a lot and would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to be in an idyllic place with nice staff, a wonderfull view and very nice rooms, which were made with love. we stayed for 3 nights. you feel good there.it is possible to borrow bycicles to experience the area on your own. a big advantage for us was to have a parking area,... what people say » because in the center you hardly find any. and i think everyone has to try the breakfast. the owner offers selfmade cookies and cake, and loads of ma - The hotel is situated in a small village but many attractions are conveniently to reach from there (by car). For a trip to Triest there is a bus stop in front of the house, there is a direct bus connection to Triest central station. The owners were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with variations each day. The rooms are cosy, very clean and lovely decorated.

Would definitely stay there again - To say that the owners/operators of this hotel were kind, helpful, knowledgeable, respectful, considerate, and a joy to be around would be an understatement. They were absolutely wonderful and went well out of their way to assure our time there surpassed all our expectations. I am in love with the Banne area, and the warm feelings come mostly from staying at this B&B.

It was ok because the hotel has such a lovely position on the sea that you are never in the room.
