Piero, the owner was fantastic & extremely accommodating & helpful. The room was very big, extremely clean & as such provided a good nights sleep. The location meant you were slightly away from the tourist traps & as a consequence we enjoyed the best meal of our trip at a local restaurant, recommended by Piero (la dolce vita, located on via Egadi). Breakfast was provided at a local café, which we found to be much better than your regular hotel/B&B breakfast - a good idea oth.
all reviews » 1. The owner Piero - extremely nice and helpful person. Was looking for us byhis car to give us a lift from the bus station when we came late in the evening. We could always sent him email during our stay with question/request and he reacted immediately. Really great person. 2. Lady cleaning rooms every day - I have never seen such good job, even in expensive hotels. Piero was very helpful. He was waiting outside when we arrived. The first room with real airco. Every day the room was clean when we returned. And, Piero, thank you for the nice little present. The breakfast in a small café on the corner was perfect. We had a very warm welcome by Piero who is an excellent host..the room was very spacious and comfortable with flatscreen tv..airconditioning..free wifi..and a nice bathroom..It´s not too far from the centre..very recomendable!. We had nice reception with a botte of wine,rooms are nice and having extra beds in case of bigger group,we had a chance to rent a bike,what is very usefuk,because Trapani is large to walk... Value for money; comfortable; situated a couple of hundred metres away from a bus stop leading to the city centre, seaport and airport. The free wi-fi was a big asset. It is a very pleasant place. My bed was very comfortable. The owner of the hotel is a very nice guy, always ready to help. The place is very quiet. A breakfast man slept in but the owner took us to a different breakfast place and even gave us a ride to the ferry terminal. Great service!. Very Welcoming. Waiting at the door to greet us. Very large bedroom and dining room attached. Good pretty bathroom with all mod cons.. the owner was very helpful and friendly. We arrived late/after the checking in hours but he waited for us. But we observed that people there eat breafest like this so I guess this was just normal and we did not complain. My be for someone second floor is not so easy,but it works... The breakfast provided was very rudimentary. I do not see any drawbacks. Breakfast was included but we had to go down the street to a local coffee shop with our breakfast token. Walls are not soundproof. Breakfast could include some fruit or yoghurt. Lack of nearby eating places. There were moscitous in the room on the spring time. Location is far from the part of town where most of the attractions are. Cups in the bathrooms need to be cleaned. Ewww!.
