It is set in the old town,an easy walk from the train station,but it is a new building so all features are fresh and comfortable. Great bed and stylish bathroom with a pretty breakfast room. Close by is a simple local restaurant with very good food, and a few interesting shops. We enjoyed Tirano & recommend this hotel.

  We stayed one night at the Hotel Bernina as we took the train from Milan to Tirano (rather than the bus) and were catching the Bernina Express the next day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone taking this trip. We als - On our way back to Italy (after spending a day in Switzerland on Glacier Express), we were looking for a night stay in Tirano to catch the early morning train to Milan. This hotel offered an excellent stay. The guy at reception was excellent. He took care of a booking mistake that we made and upgraded our room as well (can't thank him enough).
