  Nice hotel. We had an amazing view. It's old, it's Italian, don't have the highest expectations. AC didn't get cool in our room, but it's was around 75F so not too bad. Parking is really minimal. I drive and SUV, parked it on the ramp and left the keys. The hotel staff moved around the vehicle and parked it. What was surely a very impressive hotel at one stage we found to be rather dated and not as comfortable as we had been led to believe.

  All the staff in the hotel were excellent and nothing was to much trouble, including parking our car as the car park is very difficult to access. Overall we would strongly recommend this hotel to all our friends and family. - Hotel views, ease to walk to town and modern design/decor.

  Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Antonio on reception who arranged car hire and airport transfers for us. Nothing was a problem for him. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had a balcony with a view of the beach and isola bella. Great selection for breakfast and reasonably priced snack menu. We felt we got good value for money. Thumbs up - The staff were very courteous and helpful. We stayed only one night but the were happy for us to leave our car in their garage on the day we were leaving until 5pm so that we had time both to go to the beach in the morning and then to take the cable car to Taormina and have a good look around. The pool and roof terrace are great with fantastic views, likewise the restaurant/bar. If I was to go again I would definately stay for longer.

  We adored this hotel. It's beautifully decorated with antiques etc. The location is perfect for the old part of Taormina and they run bus transfers to a couple of beaches for €8 and €10. If you arrive by bus and are unfamiliar with Taormina we recommend getting a cab to the hotel as it would be difficult to find initially. In fact as soon as we would arrive in reception they would leave whatever work they wer - Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff - a very pretty, small and intimate hotel. It had a very nice terrace area for relaxing in the heat of the afternoon and our room had its own private terrace too. Breakfast was extremely good, with lots of choice and some local specialities which we liked very much. Quiet, but convenient for the centre of Taormina.

I didn't stay in the actual hotel but what is presented as an apartment, in fact a small one-bedroom house attached to the hotel. It's really close to the centre and the public ga - Very clean and welcoming hotel. Tastefully appointed and with a good-sized balcony over-looking the most amazing view of the sea. The proprieter was welcoming and friendly as indeed were all the staff. Fresh fruit was left for us in the bedroom and was again in plentiful supply at breakfast. The hotel is a short walk (albeit up a bit of a hill) to the centre, so for us was perfectly located in terms of views and access to the town.   We couldn't have been happier with the Hotel Sirius. The location is great, with a short walk up into the centre of Taormina and just 2 minutes walk to the cable car down to the beach. (We preferred to take the path at the end of the road which was a very pleasant route down to the beach - although not very practical if you have pushchairs/small c... what people say » hildren perhaps). The hotel terraces cascaded with flowers and the air was - The location was fantastic top view in Taormina while eating evening meal over looking Isola Bella. Smartest hotel in that location. If you can afford it book a superior room with a sea view we had a sun terrace to die for. The room wasn't large but the terrace made up for it. The room was superb. - I had high expectations for this hotel, but we were still blown away by the conscientiousness of the staff, attention to detail in the rooms, and overall sense of precision. This is a lovely and very special place, and the breakfast doesn't disappoint! Even as a vegan, I found myself with more delicious options than can be properly sampled in a single meal.
