the staff were fantastic,breakfast was great with choice of fresh fruit!

we paid for a garden view hotel, and it was in fact opposite the garden wall! very dark room- but we did tell staff and were moved to a beautiful sea view

I did not like the fact that one could not buy your own drinks and keep it in the mini bar The price of their drinks were redicolously overpriced and cannot be afforded.Ninety percent of the guests staying there the same time as us complained about the same thing.

The spaciousness of the Hotel, it really is Grand! The views were capitalized on to maximise them, really beautiful. The staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

The coffee at breakfast was not up the usual Italian standard!! One should have a choice of more than one coffee, and prefrably slef service!

Traditional furnishing and the friendliness of the staff. I describe it as "having the luxury of the top international hotel , but, with a sole!!!!"

The location was fabulous in sorrento. The hotel pool was really out of this world for the area. The staff were superb really courtious and helpful always with a smile.

We found they got a bit greedy with drink prices and priced themselves out of the market. If they were to reduce their prices by a couple of euros then we would have spent a lot more time at the hotel bar.

The hotel itself was beautiful, sited perfectly within easy reach of the town, and having superb views from the lovely gardened pool area and restaurants. Really superb

Sadly, our peace was disturbed by young children, particularly around the pool area.

The hotel staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The location is very nice with some rooms having an excellent view of the bay. Breakfast was excellent.

When requesting to stay further nights we had to move room every night so it was a pain. The 1st room was very clean, however the last 2 rooms were not so clean, and one room was very noisy with the sound of upstairs toilets and bathroom drainage running past our room at night which made for an uncomfortable and restless night,

Most of the staff were wonderful especially the front desk and the head barman - he was superb.

Table d'hote dinner at 40 euro each was a bit high for the quality

Great Views

We bboked a superior room that was located beneath the terrace. As all florring was tiles, we were awoken every morning by the large sound of furniture being moved. This went on for over an hour sometimes.

Too many english tourists, staff greeted residents with 'Good morning' instead of speaking in Italian.

The patio area and the pool area were very nice.

The queue for breakfast. The breakfast food could have been better. Hotter. The coffee was bitter.

We liked the room itself and the storage space.

There are quite a lot of rooms and ours was not the cheapest. Our room was next to the stairs/lift and closest to the bar that closed at 1am and we were disturbed more than once. The view of "mediterranean vegetation" meant a grey painted wall, which made the room dark. We couldn't tell if it was raining or sunny day. We tried to move, but we were told the hotel was fully booked. It was not.
