Flora, the owner, was incredibly friendly. We felt like staying with our own Italian family. Whatever we asked her for (boil hot water for tea or recommend some places to visit etc) she immediately did. The fridge in our room was also a great asset. If I go to Rome again soon, I will definitely try and stay there.

We spent 4 nights in Rome and Hotel de Teatro became our home-away-from home. Great location near Piazza Navona and Campo di Fieri. Paulo at the front desk was very helpful and spoke impeccable English although I tried some Italien. The breakfast was delicious, our room comfortable and spacious and very clean.

Very good B&B especially for the price standards of Rome. Breakfast was reasonable, with no set time to eat, so we could have the breakfast whenever we woke up in a self-service scheme, with a nice expresso machine in the lobby. There was also a microwave availabe. -

The walk to Vatican city is less than 10 minutes. At Vatican city you can catch the hop on and hop off buses that take you to all the major sites in Rome.

I mostly liked the spacious room with the terrace! The heating was excellent too and you could adjust if its too hot. Very very clean! Highly recommend. I was with my mother and its within walking distance to the vatican so the location was excellent. 10 to 15 minutes if you walk slowly. The owner was very helpful too!
