  Was our first time in Rome and Townhouse Spagna's location was perfect for sight seeing. We found it a perfect base to just stroll the streets and find all the various monuments at each corner. Townhouse Spagna is located near the Spanish Steps and is a trendy part of town where all the nice boutiques are. Great city living. Lots of options for eating on your doorstep too with a lot - Town House Spagna is conveniently located in an alley right by the Spanish Steps. As soon as I made a last minute booking for same day check in, they called me to make sure I was okay to find the place and provided directions. When we checked in, we were upgraded to a bigger room free of charge which is always a nice surprise. Town House Spagna is a very cute boutique style hotel and has very pretty furnishings. We had a short stay but it was a pleasant one.

It is not just a matter of comfort and location, it is also a matter of excellent and dedicated attention. The host makes you feel really comfortable. Location: uff! :) It takes less than 1 - Anna, our hostess, was fantastico! Her personal attention to our minor needs was excelling! For example, she prepared breakfast one morning earlier than the scheduled breakfast period to allow us to get an early start with that day's activity. Anna sang to my wife's piano accompaniment; Anna tutored me with my fledgling Italian conversation; Anna gave superb directions involving bus transportation. This hostess became our friend too.
