Opened in 2013, Temple View is a brand-new property offering rooms in the heart of Rome, next to the ancient ruins of Largo Argentina. It gives you free Wi-Fi and excellent public transport links.
Temple View takes its name from Pompey's Theatre in the historic Campus Martius in front of the building. You are 10 metres from the nearest bus stop and 250 metres from the Pantheon.
The rooms combine modern amenities with classic decor. All include air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and hydromassage shower.
A buffet breakfast of croissants, biscuits and savoury items is served each morning. The property is on the first floor, while you can find a hairdresser's under the same ownership on the ground floor.

What people say
The room was just fabulous. Obviously newly renovated, and done so with great thought and love, the location is excellent right in the heart of Rome. We stayed in silver room, which pleasantly surprised me with its size, decoration, impeccable cleanliness, and the view. We also appreciated a lot a breakfast that exceeded expectation with its variety, as well as the availability of the bottled water, tea coffee and everything that there is in the kitchen, throughout the day. Extremely welcoming . all reviews »
These are apartments, and not a typical hotel as there is no on-site
overnight management. Aside from that, the rooms were modern and
spacious, beds were comfortable, bathroom had modern features and our
room overlooked a busy Rome street. Ronan couldn't have been more
helpful and arranged to have a car take us to the airport, which was
much less that a taxi would cost. Overall a great hotel with an
excellent location to all the best that Rome has to offer. Public
transit is close and easy to u.
We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem in such a fantastic location. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The treats in the kitchen area all day long was super nice. Our room was the Lilac room, which is a corner room, so two sets of huge windows, was bright and lovely. The location is easy walking to such sites as Campo Di Fiori, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. Will definitely recommend this hotel and plan to stay there again when we return to Rome.
The room was in the central historical district and was large (we probably had the largest room). The king bed was comfortable. The breakfast was more than expected, including cheese and ham, along with yogurt, fruit, juices, and pastries. Food, coffee, and bottled water was made available all day long. This is incredibly convenient to all this historical sites, and is on one of the busiest piazzas in Rome.
Beautiful modern room and the shared kitchen (between four rooms but we never crossed paths with others) is available all the time. The fridge has juice milk mineral water yoghurt fruit ham and cheese and there is coffee tea and lots of cake and biscuits - you can help yourself any time you want. A highlight is the massage shower.
Everything. The location was perfect, the rooms were newly renovated and Mariapia and her staff were outstanding. They even provide free cold bottled water, which was very much appreciated. Highly recommended.
Location was great in the Pantheon district. Strategic to Vatican, Colosseum, notable plazas and fountains. Newly remodeled color-themed rooms. Great bathrooms. Nice breakfast area with variety. Great host.
Roton the manager was very efficient and went beyond our expectations in taking care of our needs. Especially as one of us are disabled he was very caring & kind. The breakfasts were also very good.

- Really good shower.
Friendly help. Generous with breakfast facilities.
The location, use of the kitchenette at all times.
Location and staff were great!.
Hospitality, room.
location.
beautiful view,.
Nothing at all.
Very hard to find, even taxi driver had difficulty. Better instructions
on the location of the hotel would help. Sign on the huge doors could be
bigger. Because our room overlooked a busy street, it was rather noisy
so I would recommend using earplugs. The manager said they are going to
replace the windows to help with the noise soon.
A bit noisy, but I understand new triple pane windows are scheduled to be installed in the next few months.
The sign was impossible to see and is on the back of the building and faces a small piazza.
Doors are heavy and somewhat difficult to manage. Outside noise was a little loud until sometime after midnight.
We primarily stayed in the hotel because of it's proximity to the Pantheon, however the street noise in the middle of the night was loud and unfriendly. Double glaze windows would more than likely rectify this problem. Because we were only staying two nights, if we came back to Rome we would still choose this guest house for a limited stay. More than two nights the sleeplessness would take its toll.
Some flexibility required to share the tiny breakfast room, but it wasn't a problem for us.
The room was small for what we payed but your paying for the location of the hotel and the not the luxury. Parking can be hard to find.
Could be a little noisy from the street.
All was OK!.
It was difficult to find. Perhaps a bigger sign at the door would help. Otherwise we have no complaints at all.
nothing bad to point.
Does get a bit noisy during the night but that's to be expected when you're bang in the middle of it all.
- Breakfast can be improved.
- Expensive.
Somewhat noisy at night.
The WiFi did not work in our room the entire visit.
traffic noise, very light breakfast.
