I loved that the hotel was minimalistic-trendy. We stayed in a superior double room, and the size was just perfect. Fresh and clean bathroom too. Staff were incredibly nice and helpfull. We enjoyed the breakfast and the service at the nearby café with a nice view towards Piazza Navona. I've already recommended the hotel to friends who are planning on going to Rome. Perfect location; Francesca at the desk was delightful; tastefully decorated. This is a small "boutique" hotel best suited for solo travelers and couples who don't need a concierge or a lot of help around Rome, just need a tasteful room without the lounge / dining areas of larger hotels.
all reviews » This Hotel is ideal for a stay in Rome. It is the perfect Location on the edge of Piazza Navona a short walk to the Panteon easy walk to St Peter's in fact an easy walk to everything. The Staff were friendly and always helpful. I would highly recommend this Hotel. I liked the location and the design of the rooms. I liked the Renaissance building it was inside. Great great great location in the oldest smallest part of Rome, next door to Pantheon and within walking distance (for a fit person) to the Colosseum. Best possible location. There is no obvious sign or indication that points you to the hotel when you arrive in the street, apart from the house number and a tiny logo next to the door bell. But this was no problem, just charming. The AC is a little slow to cool the room, and is very difficult to program. Have the guy set it for you before he leaves. If you really want to find a comment: sleeping with open windows is difficult because of street noise. Bu that is Rome. And the breakfast in the adjacent bar was slow, slow, slow!. Just a little hard to find, but that was mainly my fault. Street was a bit noisy, but not at a level that I have a problem with. Rooms felt a little bit small as we had a room with a window that didn't look out the front. The shower leaked lots of water onto the floor. No complaints!. Very minimalist, not enough lighting, no chair, no closet, no shelf for toiletries in bath. Decor very stark, dark and depressing, all black and grey. Tiny bath and bedroom for a "deluxe" room. Bathroom, like a prison. &Quot;Art" disappointing. Difficult to find with 4" x 6" sign on building. Location great and staff tried, but room not up to par. We had 6 day booking and left after 2 days to find a suitable hotel. 1. Only one staff 2. Bad impression on the entrance. Also don't have the hotel main door key, so you need to wait for them to open and it's difficult especially when you return ad midnight. 3. No hotel sign 4. Old, small and slow lift.
