The price of drink in the bar was excessive which left the bar empty most nights despite the fact that there was music laid on. no tea making facilities in the room. Price was much higher than I originally saw on booking.com, and I'm not sure why.The restaurant was very good but expensive. Bar meals not available. Did not have an electrical adapter for guests to use or buy. Internet service was very pricey and did not account for time used properly.Scrambled egg at breakfast looked unappetising as it was always sitting in a lot of liquid. The location. Uncentral.Two things we would like to see upgraded, the first being that the beds were not comfortable at all we both had sore backs in the morning. For the cost per night I would like to see more modern elegant furniture in the rooms it cost us a fortune to stay for two nights and the rooms were not equal to the price we had to pay. Again the rooms were very clean and the staff very nice. The evening meals were very poor and grossly over priced - the worst aspect of the Hotel. Advice to others would be to eat out!. Room too hot. Cigarette smoke filtered through, when opening the window to cool room. Many of the staff had difficulty speaking English.Did hear running water in the night!. A smell of something old. The airconditioning didn't work for the first two nights. However, when we told this to the staff it was repaired quite rapidly. the hotel is probally in need of some repairs, we stayed ther 2 years ago and from what I saw no repairs seem to have been done( just little things like the plug in the basin didn't work, the rooms were a little dusty.Would not provide an Iron. it was abit expensive. We booked superior rooms. they were truly small as for higher standard facilities but clean and nice. Note that superiors are located at 7th floor and they have totally no view so if you prefer spacious rooms with nice view forget about this hotel. if you need good location and fine standard - take it you would not be dissapinted. no tea coffee facilities in room. poor food both at dinner and at unvarying very plain breakfast far too far from centre with poor public transport links. The rooms were in bad need of a renovation - they are run down. Hotelstaff quality varies widely; had to avoid "help" from certain staff-members altogether. One person, in particular, tried to charge us moreon several occasions, including the promised price of the room!. It did cater to tours so there was a lot of bus traffic and large groups in the foyer. However, the worst part was, for the price, the room was very small and, more importantly, the fan/air/heating was very poor....couldn't cool down the room which meant you had to open a window and, therefore, pick up street noise. Adequate but I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The mattelas of bed, they are horrible.
