The owner is very nice and always willing to help. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The walk to Vatican city is less than 10 minutes. At Vatican city you can catch the hop on and hop off buses that take you to all the major sites in Rome. The train station/bus stop is about 2 blocks from the B&B. It cost us 16 Euro to get to the airport via the train and it was about a 30 minute train ride. The B&B is located in an apartment building. There is a bakery near the building entrance.
all reviews » I mostly liked the spacious room with the terrace! The heating was excellent too and you could adjust if its too hot. Very very clean! Highly recommend. I was with my mother and its within walking distance to the vatican so the location was excellent. 10 to 15 minutes if you walk slowly. The owner was very helpful too!. Very good location (walking distance to all the main tourist attractions including Colosseum; safe and quiet area with lots of nice restaurants). Perfectly clean and nicely decorated room with balcony, where you can enjoy your breakfast and great view to St. Peter's Basilica. Very friendly host. Host, Vincente, was very accommodating, informative, graciously allowed me to use his computer daily when there. The room was clean, we were allowed fresh towels daily and it was quite safe, with extra exterior barriers. Vincente went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Its location is minutes from the Vatican and lots of great restaurants to eat. The room was lovely with a view of the basilica from our window. Modern bathroom easy access to everywhere if you like walking otherwise train station only minutes away. The facilities were good, it was neat and clean. The breakfast was simple but a great start to the day. The terrace overlooking St Peter's Basilica was lovely. Great location for the vatican sites. Great location near Vatican City. Good size room with share of large balcony. great views of and closeness to Vatican and the train station. Great location near the Vatican. easy for getting into the centre of Rome. Our room was not renovated (Privato room) and we did not have a view of the Basilica. The Privato room is PERFECT for a single traveler but not a couple. Owner was VERY understanding and did compensate us. Believe me the PROS out way the CONS of this B&B!!!. wonderfully close to Vatican of course which we knew, but little far from old-world sites. The price seemed a little high for the apartment's location in relation to Rome's old world sites which required more than one day's trip by bus in order to see them all. nothing really but not having milk in the morning for coffee was a bit disappointing. A little difficult to find, could do with a more prominent sign on the building. breakfast too limited no restaurants nearby. The difficulty in getting to the hotel as there is no signage but that's Italy... the bed was quite uncomfortable and being woken for 6.30am call for mass!.
