It was very convenient to get to the Vatican City while the Metro is close too. Our first impressions where rather low as the area the hotel is in has a rather dodgy feel. We think the place is actually a regular office place/flat and they have turned it into a one-floor hotel. However, the people running the place were extremely lovely and welcoming. Made us feel right at home!! We went over the Easter weekend and was provided with some nice breads, cakes, Italian coffee and juices for the occ.
all reviews » Really pleased we chose to stay here for our 2 nights in Rome! It's a 2 minute walk from the metro station. Probably best to print a map before you come because there isnt a huge sign, its a ground floor appartment in a big residential building. Reception staff gave us a map of Rome, and hepled us plan where we wanted to go and where was best to eat etc. Great air con, wifi good. Nice shower. Most of all I liked the staff. All the ladies working in the inn were very nice and helpful and willing to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Second I liked the location of the inn, because it is situated at 5 minutes walking distance from Vatican Museum and 3 minutes walking distance from Cipro metro station. And third I liked the cleanness of the room. InnVatican is an excellent, value for money hotel. It is spotlessly clean, quiet and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Its location is excellent, being 2 minutes walk from the Metro and 10 minutes walk from the Vatican museums. We felt very safe walking at night in the area of the hotel. Good location right next to the Vatican. Mostly english speaking staff, fairly cheap parking garage across the street. Close to the metro, takes about 10-15 min to get to most attractions in the city. Location was great! Just a few steps away from cipro metro station and several good restaurants. Pizzarium was a daily stop for me. Staff went way out of their help us! Would definitely stay again. Would be nice to have had a breakfast in the hotel but there are a few places within a few minutes walk to get food in the morning. Slightly hard to find with gps... The place is on the left across from the parking garage with a very small sign. The fact that I had to leave this lovely place. Our room was near the street and at times noisy. The towels and bedsheets were not changed after 3 days, by mistake.. and that compromised the overall good impression. The light inside the room is very dim. Need to be brightened up. Disappointed with the cleanliness, toilet bowl was not cleaned properly after previous guest's stay. Bathroom only had rain shower which was half spoiled. Noisy room (No.6), difficult to know how to access place - need to ring apartment buzzer on wall and be let in. It did not have its own enterance. Area around the guess house was not clean. There is no hotel label. Not easy to find the door. Staff during evening hours, very bad sound isolation from other rooms and from street. Very hard, uncomfortable matresses No hot water on our last day Not very clean: lot of dust and mould around the shower In a suburban area, not close to the center Expensive for what you get in return No breakfast.
