The quieter area it was in. The fact that it was newer than most hotels
in the area. The Coffee/snack bar area. The Hotel restaurant. Loved
the water option of carbonated (gas) or non. And of course the politely,
friendly and helpful staff.
Location, friendly, helpful staff.
Americans love ice, but in Europe most places don't offer an ice
machine on each floor... But no big problem. No iron in room or to
borrow from housekeeping...again a European rule in all hotels we stayed
in. Those two things are what made renting an apartment in Paris and
Barcelona a bit more comfortable. But I would stay at the Il Cantico
again if ever in the area. all reviews »
We did run out of toilet paper. Housekeeper had only left 1/4 roll.
