The reasonably comfortable room was quiet and clean. The breakfast was good. Decent coffee is tremendously important. easy access for sightseeing and also roof top terrace superb.Very central location. Hotel staff were very helpful in providinginformation about local attractions etc. Nice, clean, good value for the money, excellent locaton. Central location, rooftop terrace. Close to everything, beautuful views from the roof. The two beds in my room put together were aof vastly different quality. I have a long body and the doubles enable me to sleep better. This was, I am afraid, difficult. Location of the Hotel is excellent and near to all the Touristic Points that could be viewed walking.Reception staff were very helpful. Breakfast was nice. Coffee wasvery good. Excellent location - quite near to Piazza Navona with great restaurants and nice view, near to Vatican, Trevi Fountain and other attractive locations. 2 of 3 receptionists were very helpful and professional. The bed could have been more comfortable. It seemed like the mattress was worn out and sloping to one side.first night room was very cramped but the hotel did change our room for a larger one for the rest of our stay. The breakfast was very poor, but considering the value offered on roomrates by the hotel this was not a big problem.We had asked for a double room and on the first night we were given aroom with 2 single beds put together in a room we could hardly movearound in but they were good enough to give us a larger double room onour 2nd and 3rd nights. The breakfast was only ok. Air-condition was either out of order or just throwing breeze that was not cool.The bed was not very comfortable. missing parking ; no help for luggage ( 4stars hotel ?!). Very noisy (thin walls, out of soundproof at all, maids are noisy early in the morning and during the day). No bath - only shower area (not efficient and noisy). The main problem - in 2 days of 3 there was no hot water during the day (only in the evening). The heating is central and works only in the evening - so sometimes is was quite cold. In need of make over. On arrival at 3p.m. the room was only just being made up and as we wanted to get changed to go out straight away,we were annoyed. The man on the front desk was totally disinterested.The shower head was broken and the toilet seat loose. Heating rather restricted, phone and little fridge out of work, one single light switcher next to the room's front door, bedside lamps didn't function, bathtub could hardly flush, no plug in the washbasin, no fresh bread every day for breakfast, poor choice of foodstuff, coffee and milk hardly warm.kitsch style, decadent specially the bathroom (on the basin tap the chrome plating flaked off a long time ago, very difficult to control hot water in shower, waste in shower was black, also chrome plating completely flaked off, aluminium window frame very dirty with fungus and moisture.
