Set in a completely renovated building of the early 19th century, the Farnese boasts elegant furnishings that include many artistic objects from the 17th century. It was very quiet away from all the maddening crowds, close to bank machines/metro stop and the romans away from the tourist sections were very nice. Also the rooms were very fresh/clean/air conditioning worked great after the heat/dust from the city. Breakfast was very good and if asking for a cappucino it was made for you. Staff was very friendly, helpful got us a last min. tour to vatican - Monica

The staff was extremely helpful, and the room was very nice, with a nice private patio for us to enjoy. The location was also very convenient to the Vatican and the metro, and was within reasonable walking distance of the Spanish steps, etc. It was also in a safe, quiet neighborhood.
