We got married in Rome 18 May 2013 and we had chosen this hotel for us and our guests. It was perfect choice! The staff was extremely helpful. They went an extra mile to make our day perfect. A Big Thank you to those ladies, who worked on Saturday morning on 18 May 2013. Thank you for organising a taxis for our guests and a chauffeur service for us. Location is superb! Very clean and pleasantly decorated rooms. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices. Overall, it was a great stay and we will .
all reviews » I liked the breakfeast in the morning as it realy brang out the Italian side of food culture especially being from the uk the difference is incredable! As I stayed over the easter weekend you could feel the excitement from the locals regarding the new pope Francis. The location was great with only a 12 minuite walk to Vatican City and metro line! It is a quiet real Italian feel throughout the hotel and surrounding streets! I will defiantly be back!. Good location, close to Vatican, we walked most places with no hassle. If arriving by train take the 40 bus to the end of its Round and then walk straight ahead through the walls and you are a short walk from there. Staff very helpful with plans for your time in Rome. Rooms not huge, but good base for those wanting to explore. Breakfast included was good as not many restaurants/cafes in that area. Great breakfast, very good location - close to the Vatican and good City map and help from staff who had excellent knowledge of the city's attractions. Wine in the fridge and regularly refilled water was very much appreciated and a nice touch. Design and decoration was cool for a city break. Airport transfer was good value. We loved hotel colours? Bright funky and clean room with sky tv that you can watch in English! Breakfast was great lots if selection and fresh! Staff were so helpful and friendly. So close to Vatican and metro so was easy to get to all the main sights! Best hotel we have stayed in Italy and best value for money. Everything was great! Staff is courteous and friendly, and considered our request of getting a room on the same floor because at my mother's age, she cannot walk up and down the stairs. Complimentary wine in the fridge is very much appreciated. Would love to stay here again on my next visit to the city. Colors was very close to Tiber River, Castel Sant' Angelo, the Vatican, and shopping on Via Crescenzio, Via del Corso and Condotti. Staff was very helpful and offered suggestions and a smile. Location was centralized to everything which was good for first time visitors to Rome. Great place to crash during our stay in Rome. Room was pretty small and bathroom was next to common area so was being used by others all the time. No lift. Hotel need a bright sign outside to find it more easier. I did not expect that common bathroom mean that there is no wc inside number. A bit noisy in the morning on the street. accommodation on the ground floor, noisy street small dining room. There's no WC in the room and no lift.. But it's part the experience.. free coffee machin at 4th floor. It was not so easy to find, it does not have a sign outside. And it does not have an elevator, and i stayed in the third floor. After first night they don't change towels and forgot to give us a free bottle of water for each day of stay, but on the second day everything became normal. Not in the center of rome but 5 minutes walk from the vatican. Cleanliness (in the places that hidden from the eyes) and raggedy towels. Nothing for the money paid. Breakfast was poor and if coming later not much left... Looks like there is no filling if something is over... This hotel has no signs outside, we were going back and force with the rain and the heavy suitcases and couldn't find it until somebody across the street told us, just a paper sign on the side of the door, and it is a little hard to go up the stairs ( two stories) with a heavy suitcase. Stairs. As there is no lift access, Not convenient to carry too many luggages. I stayed in the 3rd floor i think the stairs were a bit too much for me. it would be nice if there was an elevator The dining area is small you have to take turns to have breakfast and if you have early commitments, it becomes an inconvenience because there is no where to sit. I booked 2 rooms and paid a little bit more because they advertise that they have ac. The ac in 1 of the rooms did not the whole time we were there. They did give us a rreduced price for the non ac room. Very noisy in the room on the first floor due to street and reception. Wifi was terribly low. The bed was not so comfortable. But when you spend only night hours in the hotel the cornerstone problem is the noise!. Breakfast is very inadeguate. We don't find eat anything. room next to the 24hour reception is very noisy and uncomfortable. -. Average clean, average decorate, very old and broken wardrobe, the bed almost ready to collapse! The breakfast room ? maybe the smallest I ever be. The breakfast ok.! 270 pounds were more than enough for this room for 2 nights. No lift. bed is uncomforable. Really hard to find: no sign on the outside, apart from a sheet of printed paper. Breakfast room too small. It is not uncommon to find that there's no table available. Street noise can be a nuisance at night. Loose bathroom's shower kept falling, which was bothersome. Shower got flooded if you weren't timing your bath. 115€ for a 9m2 bedroom with a 1,33m wide bed is a bit too much even for Rome.... Beds are very poor. There is no elevator so we had to haul luggage up 3 flights. The beds were worse than a pull out couch. They were very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs in your back! Wi-Fi was hit and miss. very very small room, the room inside is not the same as shown in the picture. High cost, low comfort. Poor breakfast.
