All was perfect! We spent our honeymoon there and, as a surprise, we get un upgrade to Moliere Suite (superior suite) with a bouquet of red tulips with wishes from staff and chocolate hearts. The suites are located in a walking distance from the main building and these one was located at a calm street with the window at the street. In this building were 2 other suites with shared leisure zone (open air with a round table). It was the best choice we've ever done! Thanks for Colosseo Teatro Relai.
all reviews » The location is very central and close to Cavour metro station. Colosseum is also 5-10 minutes walk away. Everyday the room was cleaned and the linen changed. We had the standard double room but it was more than we expected as it offered great comfort. Finally, before our arrival the hotel reception contacted us and gave ususeful information on how to find the hotel location. We are extremely happy to have stayed that as the stay was pleasant. The hotel is very impressing and cosy. Its 10 steps away from the Collosseum. The room are very fency but decorated with taste. The beds are very comfortable. Would reccommend for couples and those who are staying in Rome for a short period of time and want to be in the heart of the city to manage to see everything. The value for money is really good. Would go there next time too... I like the idea of this accommodation, money-saver and a few steps away from the Amphitheater. The room was perfectly clean and well organized, and this type of hotels is most certainly ideal for solo travelers and people whom willing to stay from 1-2 days. Many good restaurants are nearby which is convenient for all travelers. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The apartment we have stayed was 80€/night- great value for money and very near to all points of interest . (1.2km from Termini ) . Warm welcome. Ok beds ( a bit noisy though :) ) Interior was good. Powerful shower. Wi-fi didn't work only in the nights, otherwise a good stable connection. Enough towels. Apartment was cleaned every day ( we stayed 2 nights only ) . Francesco was really accommodating. He did such a great job allowing us to store our luggage and also checked us in. The hotel is very strategic as it is just a few steps away from the colosseum and the rooms are fantastic! Very good area for food too! Would definitely return for a value for money accommodation!. The location was great: just 5 mins walk from Colosseo, so 7-8 mins from Piazza Venezia. You can also reach main station Termini in 15-20 mins walk. Very clean, nica old style merged with modern. Thumbs up! -stayed in the full Monti. Good location - Colosseum, Forum Romanum is just a few steps away -, still in a quiet street. Great interior design. Everything is clean and new. Nice staff. Air conditioner works for heating too. Francesco, the manager, was extremely accommodating, the location rocked, and we couldn't beat the comfort for the money we spent. If we went back to Rome, we would definitely stay there again. the room was very nice con fortable, some glases were missing to have water, but apart is confortable, in a love location next to the Coliseum We like to go go back.... There is no one at the reception every time of the day. The spa in the bathroom didn't work. The Internet did not work at all, and one of the staff gave a card indicates that I can have my breakfast at a nearby bar. When I went to the bar, the bartender did not have a clue about the information on that card. One more thing, when I woke up in the check-out day, the electricity was off!!! So I had to use my iPhone as a light-source to pack my staff and leave. Earplugs are a must , though even me they haven't helped really. But maybe it is like it is in Rome... we had to wait a little bit cause nobody was there when we arrived. But if you have the phone number just call. We miss our cup of tea and cfee in the morning!!! There is no kettle!. Absolutely nothing. No Wi-Fi access in Beckett, Moliere and Toto suites! (No mobile signal either.) The room doesn't have a natural lighting. The gas stove did not work. Can be noisy around midnight, as I figured the neighboring flat is used as storeroom for some restaurant. (?). to have to arrange for the keys and give the time for the arrival...... None. No sign of the hotel. You must call the reception to open the door. We arrived at 8 pm and nobody was here, despite the fact that we announced our arrival time. The door was locked and we couldn't grt in the building. Our phone wasn't working so we asked a citizen to help us and call at the number from the reservation. In 5 minutes a woman arrived, but it was unpleasant to stay in the middle of the road with our luggage and wait. Had some trouble getting enough hot water for showers. Staff was attentive in getting it repaired. But it is a small tank, plan for short showers!. Very noisy bar downstairs (till about midnight, after that quiet). Not enough shelves, tables etc. (nowhere to put anything). The breakfast scheme, it's not very clear, one day you pay 5eur for two people, the next day you pay 10eur when you had the same thing...maybe they should try another deal with the coffee shop. Wi-fi didn't worked. Get the mobile number of the hotel responsible and inform about arrival time. Nothing. No permanent hotel receptionist. windowless room in the basement, is damp .... - the reception is hardly working/available in this hotel - on the day of departure the was no at the reception, the phones were not answered. Later I was able to call, but it was not possible to communicate as the staff hardly speaks English. - The room was located on the ground floor with no windows and high humidity. We had a basement room, which was extremely humid and had no windows. Very uncomfortable and unpleasant. We didn't stay long in Rome, otherwise we would've immediately moved out from that place. I was shown into a room without a window. The very small room was damp and mouldy. I refused to take it. and tehy offered me another room for double the price!.
