We liked almost everything: 1) the location - 10 minutes on foot from Vatican and, at the same time, there are no crowds of tourists nearby. 2) Extremely friendly stuff - the young couple, Paola and Salvatore, tried to do their best to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. For example, they gave us a list of nice cafes and restaurants with optimal price-quality ratio, instructed about transportation from the hotel to different landmarks of the city. 3) The room itself (named "Enzo") was large.
all reviews » Everything is very good and lovely. When we were there, we thought that we are really living under "Cielo Vaticano" that means "The Sky of Vatican". This was our second visit to Rome, first time we lived at 3-stars hotel, 1 km behind Termini Station. There is no comparison with Cielo Vaticano! Due to living so close to all the main sightseeing sites (Museums of Vatican, Saint Peter's Basilica and the Castle of Saint Angel) there is enough two days for us to visit all of them!!! Moreover . Hotel owner very helpful and friendly. Good location a few minutes from the metro and all facilities (wifi/breakfast/tv) work well 1) Location of this hotel is nice. It's 5 minutes to the Metro,In fact, it's very easy to reach the most of the famous Rome sightseeings by feet & metro from here. 2) Rooms are clean and in good condition. 3) Great and helpful service. 4) Fast wireless & wired internet acce. The operators are a young and energetic couple who couldn't do enough to make sure everything was ok they genuinely want to go out of their way to help. Accommodation was comfortable the location is great with good access to the Metro and walking distance to the Vatican. Their suggestions for local shops, cafe's and restraurants were all spot on - they have done their research. We'd go back. Very helpful and friendly staff,spotlessly clean rooms with frequent linen and towel change.Very close to transport links and easy access to all historical sights. As a first timer in Rome I found this an excellent base and would recommend it to all my friends and family. Salvatore,Paola and Simona were very warm and helpful. A great find and I shall definitely stay here again!!. Salvatore and Paola were very friendly, informative and they were always willing to help us and answered every question we had about everything. Even when we are out of the guest house, they would contact us to see if we are ok or we need something. The room was always clean and tidy as the whole guest house too. Thank you Paola and Salvatore for a great stay. Hallo guys, if you plan to go to Rome, Cielo Vaticano is perfect place to stay. close to vatican museum 6 min walkin (on the way excellent bakery). Salvatore is a very nice guy who know how to treat the customer. Me and my wife spent 3nights there and we were very suttisfied. We will definitly come back :-). The staff was very nice and helpful - Simona, Paola and Salvatore took care for all our needs and provided us every information we needed. The guesthouse is very clean, very close to the Vatican and with a perfect transportation links - metro, day and night buses - to all other points of interest in Rome. Salvator & Paula were awesome! They were so friendly, they gave us a map & information pack for where to eat/drink. The room was very clean & we had a micorwave/kettle & unlimited tea & coffee to drink. Excellent receptionist, very good location (10 mins away from Vatican on foot, 4 minutes to metro), the street is peaceful, a bottle of wine as surprise :). Food market is just 3 corners away, worth to visit. Everything was ok! Especially - very frendly and helpful hosts (Salvatore and Paola - deep respect!). Cosy and quite big room with tv and fridge, nice location (7-10 min from subway, 15 min -from Vatican). Out if the Vatican hustle & bustle, but around the corner from busy and cute streets with shops & restaurants. Salvatore & Paola gave us a great list of recommendations also!. They were so helpfull. They cared our every problems . We were living at 5 am and they brougt breakfast in the room! The room was private and also clean. We are happy to stay here. They give you an awesome printout of non-touristy places to eat nearby and around the city. Close to subway and Vatican. Super friendly and helpful staff. The sympathy of the manager. The room was a little small and shower a bit tight but that is common in Rome. The walls were thin because we heard snoring from the other room, and the front door when people came in. The location is far way from the Colosseum and other site, but close to the Metro. Only downside is that the pillows were not comfortable. Nothing whatsoever - this place could not be better. This is a guesthouse, which means that there is no dining room, and breakfast is prepacked. ... only in our room the bathroom was across the corridor - but it was not uncomfortable completely (as we thought before ... :) because it was only for our room and we did not feel any discomfort. Bright in the room at night, need darker curtains. Shower didnt drain well, so you would be standing ankle deep in water while showering. Just perfect. Air-conditioning was a bit noisy. The shower head was broken and did not stay up right when trying to shower. It's really hard to find a good temperature on the shower.
