very friendly staff, very helpful, and nice clean rooms. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and the staff were very nice. We liked the balconies too.Reception staff pleasant and most helpful. We would particularly like to commend the receptionist whose name was Bambi, he excelled in his role and was most helpful not only to ourselves, but we observed this same helpfulness and charm in his dealings with all guests - a star!.
all reviews » The bed linen was clean and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The hotel was fairly priced and close to the airport. Everything was fine for our stay. Nothing was particularly outstanding, but it was adequate for a short overnight before we left town. Breakfast was adequate if you're not fussy.Helpful staff. Took us to station on shuttle bus rather than usual airport stop, to help us out. Staff were very helpful.comfort. Very courteous and helpful staff with good understanding of English, despite my lack of Italian.Close to airport. Only stayed overnight in connection with early flight from Ciampino.Ironically we thought it would be easy for getting to the airport. We failed to understand it would be the hotel that was hard to find!. The concierge was very friendly. staff were pleasent. The hotel is a short drive from Caimpino airport. There is a bus andmetropolitan service which is easy and cheap to use for traveling to thecentre of Rome. The room was clean and had modern facilites such asinternet access, choice of televsion, films and music. the cuty , stayed out the hotel as much as we could.the price is fair, near th location i had to work. yes, the hotel is not in a nice area, it is on the ring road and noisy. also the restuarante had a very limited menu, with only pasta?.The directions were confusing we had to ring the hotel for locldirections. All was fine, only walls were a bit thin.The restaurant was very disappointing - particulaly for dinner, with only 3 choices of pasta dishes (all with tomato sauce) and 3 main course offerings (all veal and 2 with tomato sauce). If this is the best the restaurant can offer it should be closed. It was an embarrassment to the waiters and a very unsatisfactory experience for ourselves. Totally reliant on the shuttle bus service to get to and from the hotel. The food was good but the menu was very limited.Finding this hotel was a challenge. Get very precise directions in addition to a GPS! It's off a frontage (slip) road and down an alleyway with tiny signs that are easily missed in the dark. Also, the pool is outdoors and seasonal. We booked this location for the pool only to find it out of service. Pre-stay info about booking shuttle bus was confusing. Also only available 9 am to 9 pm.no tea making facility in room. Dinner menu was slightly limited, but did not warrant complaining about - bearing in mind that we were outside the main holiday season.Badly signposted Taxi driver unable to find. The hotel is extremely hard to find - almost impossible,especially in the dark. We searched for over one hour and still didn't find it. In the end we resorted to going into the local Lidl supermarket, but still no-one local knew where it was. Notices in the local area would help. For information of anyone going to stay there, don't, there are other hotels easier to find.location was not convienient for anything, resulting in taxis, 20euros to the local metro is rip off due to the shuttle bus only going there a few times a day. I am a pilot and flew out of ciampino for a week and taxis resulted in 40euros a day, maybe something can be worked out there as it is a rip off for a 5 min drive. Some of the staff weren't the friendliest of people, and the waiter wasrude. The food was of poor quality and overpriced, and there was limitedchoice on the menu.the staff were very rude and unhelpful, when it states a cortious lift to the undeground u dont mention its ony twice a day. i went to reception to ask for the 6,45 lift n ws told no lift 6,46 now. the bus broke down and was out of service, dinner tasted like a packet of pasta, my room had no window, just a sky light with no blind. which made for early mornings. very poor hotel , very dissapointed. the Hotel is in close proximity of two highways, very loud highways. furthermore because of the highway you can only leave the area by shuttle that stops service at 19:00. one is practically trapped their.
