All considered, the place was terrific. My girlfriend and I got there late and it was dark out (11:30pm). Conveniently near Roma Termini train station, even with all our luggage it was not a problem getting there on foot [with help such as map or person] quickly. Arriving, the staff was very helpful with one person doing our paperwork and the other marking a map and telling us about places to visit/eat/nightlife/transport/etc. Walking wasn't an issue for us - about 20min to much of Central .
all reviews » The night person at the front desk was fantastic. He helped us get everywhere we wanted to go in Rome with detailed bus and Metro instructions and hand drawn maps. Our room was quiet and secluded off of a lovely courtyard with plants and a fish pond. Three locked doors between the street and our room made us feel secure. Close to so many things!!! Our breakfast was perfect with yogurt, pastries and great coffee. Ham and cheese also available. Many low cost food options nearby. Great location for Termini station. Room hot but still quiet with window open. The atmosphere in room is very authentic, like a history trip!. The location was very nice. It was my second time there. Everything, clean room and friendly staff. Thanks. It has all the traits of a budget hotel. Location is very near to the main station of rome and you can easily go to all the main tourist sites. Break fast was average, not many options. Personal give us another possibility for stay in another hotel more in the center for the same price but the next hotel room was to small. The location close to Stazioni Termini. You should know that the sign says "Hollywood" with "Stella Elsa" in smaller words below it. Have pre-prepared instructions (turns and street names) and you'll be fine - otherwise, some difficulties likely. Bathroom is shared so just be sure to plan accordingly. Not much else except the shower's a tad small... for two. :P. Nothing. Great value for the money!. Strict 10am checkout. Noise from outside. Breakfast could have been a little bit better. Also in 5 days bed sheets has been replaced only once and on the last day, no towels has been given. Nothing. Its take time to find the hotel as there is no signage on the main road. We have to go to other buidling for the breakfast. Can not comment this hotel, because they sold our reservation even though we came at correct time. Be sure to inform them when you will come to hotel. Breakfast was bare minimum. Overpriced for what you paid. Look for Hotel Hollywood, which is probably a one star place; I don't know how they are connected. No remote for the TV. 2 electrical outlets; one set of keys for a couple. One could barely turn around in the tiny elevator. The nice picture of the rooftop garden - no reason to go there. Slow wireless in the lobby.
