Amazingly great place! Looks even better in reality than on the pictures. Great location (5 min to Colloseum, Roman Forum and Monument Vittorio Emmanuel). B&B was recently renovated, it is very stylish, clean and tidy. We stayed there for 3 nights, in the room with external bathroom, which was absolutely comfortable as the bathroom is just 2 steps from the room. The bathroom is faced with marble tiles and looks very beautiful. But what makes this B&B really a gem and definitely a place .
all reviews » The room was very nice, including a queen size bed. The surrounding view of the Forum and Colosseum from the roof top patio was the best. You just could not beat having free breakfast in the morning or a a glass of wine in the evening and then go to the street level and be right there in the center of Rome with reasonable priced restaurants (thanks to the near by college) and all the historic sites. Fantastic location within a couple of minutes of the Colosseum, Forum and Palatine Hill. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. We had the Colosseum room and it was quiet (even though the B&B is as central as you can get), very clean and had loads of storage. The terrace overlooking the Forum was a real bonus. Massimiliano and his team were absolutely great hosts! Very helpful and fulfilling to our needs. The room 'Colloseo' is very nice with a wonderful view of a Roma street and colloseum in the distance. The building is charming and the position is more than excellent. The terrace were breakfast was served is gorgeous. Unbelievable place! The view can't be beat. We enjoyed wine & appetizers on the roof top. Felt like we were at home. The gentleman on duty hand made us breakfast in the morning ~ which was delicious! Don't hesitate for a minute, stay here!. Made in Rome was a beautiful B and B. The rooms were nicely decorated and clean. The terrace was beautiful with a great view of the city. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed sharing it with the other guests. Staff was very accommodating. Staying in this place you wouldn't believe how close it is to the touristic attractions if you just guided yourself by the price or even the outside locations looks since to be honest it's a bit hidden but once you stay here you love it. The location was great. It is withing walking distance to the Colosseum and other attractions. It's also a €10,00 cab ride to the Vatican City. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The roof top has a great view of the city. The hotel has a nice location, next to the colosseum, the terrace has an amazing view of the city. I don't know about the other rooms, but the one we stayed at (with external bathroom) overlooked busy and a bit noisy street. After walking all day long around Rome we slept like stones, but for people with sensitive sleep this could be challenging, I guess. The rooms are at the top of the building so be prepared for going up lots of stairs. There is an elevator that will by pass 4 floors of stairs, we usual walked down, but took the elevator up. Not much. Having to pay cash on arrival is inconvenient, and it took a bit of effort to find (the buzzer on the door doesn't have the name of the B&B). The A/C was a little weak but then again it was August!. The TV was hung to high on the wall. It's a little bit difficult to find the first time since there is no clear indicator of it past that .. Everything is perfect. Our room did not have hot water to take a shower. Having to leave so soon!. Not much. - to pay in cash on a day off arrival - would suggest to put a carpet in the room. The breakfast was not good. We ate elsewhere after one day of reheated egg in the microwave, toasted white bread and instant coffee! We had a weak signal for the wifi which also worked intermittently. Breakfast was good but didn't change. Stayed four nights and would have been good to have something different. honestly nothing. tricky to find, perhaps a detailed map would help. the bed. storage for clothing. The roof top terrace was dirty and no cushions on the wire chairs....so cold and uncomfortable. Otherwise...perfect. forgetful staff at the end of our residencetime. Breakfast have to be more diverse.
