Great location. Can walk just about every where except to the Vatican which is a bit far. But very close to the metro (5 min). Close to restaurant. More of a local area (vs very touristic area). Room very clean and big enough for 3 people. Breakfast is good. People are helpful although they do not speak a lot of English. They served us breakfast earlier twice to accommodate our schedule. The stuff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is nearby the center and bus station/metro/termini. Very convinient and has beautiful decoration. You can use the terrace all day and night, romantic, perfect for couples or even for group of friends. The hotel is very quiet at night even though there is a bar close by. It certainly is a good choice. I would stay there again.
all reviews » Very nice and romantic room, with warm read colours and chandelliers. We also had a wifi in the room. Room wasn't too noisy in our opinion, comparing with other hotels in Rome. Perfect location in the middle of everything, really makes it easy to explore Rome by walking everywhere. Value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely decor in room and throughout hotel, particularly the breakfast bar and roof terrace. Perfect location, 5 min walk from Colosseum and lots of places to eat and drink nearby. Hello i spend 3 nights in this lovely hotel, it was a nice clean and comfortable hotel in a very good location. 10 min walking away from the Colosseum and the neighbourhood was excellent with magnificent atmosphere. realy back again to this hotel. Location is excellent for reaching by foot all major landmarks. 15 min by foot from Roma Termini - for those who take the bus from the airport is perfect. Internet in the lobby. A tip: don't miss a coffe on the top terrace - priceless. Beautiful architecture and old feel to the design of the rooms and hotel, which is exactly what we wanted in Rome! I think breakfast should be a little better considering the money you pay. They bring certain things to you (it's not a buffet that you can choose from) but I was dissapointed and certainly did not feel I had a good breakfast to begin the day with. Few minor points: hairdryer was awful, just a tube attached to the wall without a proper 'blow'. Double bed wasn't really double but two beds merged together which sometimes formed an annoying space in the middle. Minibar was rather noisy, disturbed us more than the noise from the street. And the hotel doesn't have a restaurant despite it being advertised. But despite this would stay here again so overall a good experience. Lots of stairs, but to be expected in an old Roman building - Not a problem for us. Bit of a sewagy smell in bathroom some days. despite the stuff was very nice they wasn't so professional, didn't know to explain and suggest much. be careful when you order a shuttle service through the hotel because the driver of the shuttle didn't have a change to give us back so a service of 42 euro becomes to be 50 euro. !!!???. The front desk staff wanted to hold our passports during our stay, but were okay with our refusal to comply. Never give your passport to any one when traveling!. Second bed was so hard, my 9 year old found the floor better to sleep on!. Shower tiny. the bed is not very comfortable , hard mattress. Breakfast ok but could have been better. Bed mattress was extremely firm. noisy room,simple breakfast. lack of wi fi in room,lift,the same breakfast every day. I had a cleaning problem with the room in the first night. They changed my room next day. In the second room, air condition was not working. Overpriced compared to the quality. The hot water was limited in our room, and apperently other rooms, as I heard another couple complain about hot water. The wifi was only available in lobby, and even then, horrible. Difficult to work. Also, there is no elevator so we had to haul large suitcases up 4 flights of narrow stairs. Breakfast.... Every day the same.... no choice...
