The Amalfi hotel is situated within walking distance of the main railway station and is great for making it an easy two stop holiday which is what we did. It is also within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The beautiful Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore Church is just across the road. Even though the hotel is on a main road it is not noisy the double glazing works very well. The staff are very friendly and helpful, giving out maps and marking all the places of interest o.
all reviews » My favourite thing about Amalfi by far was the absolutely lovely and wonderful lady who runs the breakfast buffet. She obviously takes so much pride in her work and is so friendly, bubbly and full of energy every morning. She goes to extra lengths to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated and gives a veritable tour of the buffet when the guests come in! What a lovely lady, thank you so much. The staff (English speaking) were extremely helpful and welcoming. Good bathroom and shower, and having a room safe is extremely useful. Busy overlooking the street, but the glazing did a good job in keeping out noise. Extremely comfortable, firm bed to sleep on. Superb location near SS Maria Maggiore.
