- Everything was nice, the hallway was painted on the day we left, nice for the new guests :) - It really was clean, nothing to say about it. Most Hotels we come aren't as clean as Al Foro Romano

- The electric kettle was broken. Please just through it away. :)

All staff was very kind: from initial correspondence to cleaning service. Young man who waited for our arrival was willing to advice tips for visiting the city and helped us with booking museum tickets. Room and bathroom were clean all our stay. Location just perfect - walking distance to main tourists attractions and restaurants all around.

We do not recommend to use pick-up service for the way back to the airport. Driver did not accept announced reduced return price (one way 45 eur, return 85 eur) pretended that he doesn't understand and he has good car. Moreover I showed him copy of announced information. Little disappointment from his behavior at the end of our perfect stay in Rome. You can take labeled city taxi with guaranteed significantly lower price (30 eur for Ciampino airport) only 2 min walking at Piazza Venecia

The location is perfect if you are here for sightseeing. Also the staff is very friendly and professional,they do their best to make your staying comfortable. It's clean and quite affordable for prices.

Very closed to everything , no need to take a metro or a taxi . Safe neighborhood . Clean , friendly staff . They kept our luggage to a room after our check out . I will choose it again next time !!

A little noise during morning hours but it was from outside . I believe it should be a little bit cheaper but Its in Rome !!

I would recommend this to the very open minded tourist who have minimal needs and came to see the city, not the hotel. I got what I need and the staff are very kind, helpful. WIFI is free and very fast.

Nothing. They forgot to clean my room, but there was a problem with the staff, so I was an isolated case. To make up for it, they let me check out at 6pm very late since the room is not needed yet. Very nice staff.

Excellent location in the historical center

Location was by far the best thing. The suggestions on how best to visit and tour Rome on foot from the non-24hr reception staff rep was fantastic. Bed was clean. Chauffeur Roberto from airport direct to Guest House was amazing. Great service and would come back just for that alone, taking the pressure of finding and traveling to Rome. He even assisted my cousin with her luggage upon departure, carrying it for her from first floor to the car. Phone/fax/internet shop one block away was super convenient and cheap. Great cafe up the street where the English menu stands rest on pavement. Super service there. Stand at counter and eat. Much cheaper. Location was unbelievable. 15 mins walk in all directions to each major attraction bar Vat City of course. But we walked the entire city for 6 hours on first night easily.

Note, it is a Guest House. There are stairs to first floor where small kitchen/reception/office is located on checkin. Yes it can be hard to locate. It is 20metres from Hotel Forum. If you need to sleep in silence, buy ear plugs, as bar outside can be vibrant until late. No Phone on site. We travelled without a phone, so contacting staff can be an issue if you do not have a phone.

+ Perfect location for exploring Rome. Right next to the guest-house is the Roman Forum, several great basilicas, Colosseo is 5 minutes walk away, etc. etc. + The rooms are spacious and very well-furnished. The quality you'd expect to find in a 3-4 star hotel rather than in a guest-house. + There is a kitchen with a stove & fridge. Really nice :) Coffee-machine makes nice coffee and hot chocolate 50c a cup (as of September 2013). + The staff was super-friendly and really helpful.

- Quite loud noise from the street (there's a bar close by), so can't sleep with open windows. - The was a hiccup with setting a check-in time. We asked for early check-in, didn't hear back, and eventually came after 3 pm when the check-in should start, but there was noone to let us in. The reception girl explained that it was a temporary thing though, and she came 10 minutes after we called her and let us in, so all settled perfectly.

A flat reformed as a hostal. Wi-fi worked perfectly in the room. Staff (or the guy with who we made check-in) was very friendly. The room was really clean, nicely renewed&furnished and the bed was comfortable! I would recommend a young people who want to stay close to city center, price/quality choice.

Only minus was that the construction at the street woke up us at 6 AM first time...

very good location just 5min walk to colosseo and 5 min walk to metro cavour station, room is big, clean and comfortable just like at home. esp thx the staff there who were very patient and helped us a lot. a very impressive hotel.

it is a guest house so no hotel name shown on the street, kinda hard to find.
