I was on a spiritual retreat at Santa Giustina. The staff was delightfully friendly and even playful when I teased. The breakfast was very good, the view of the Basilica from my window charming, and the location excellent for my purposes! I was in Padua during the election of the new Pope so I was able to follow events well. The hotel restaurtant menu and staff were first calss!

In one word: everything. The design, with lots of tricks and ideas to be used in our own design projects; the location, in the heart of the city, but still so quiet and green; the oh so friendly (and helpful) Barbara and Simone, the fact that you can imagine how great the palazzo will look when the restauration works will be completed; the splendid breakfast served at an incredible 6.30 am, just for us not to skip it. Wonderful is the word.

This boutique hotel is fantastic - Fillipo and his staff were amazing and very helpful - especially with transport and getting to and from Venice.
It is a well designed and superbly fitted out apartment style rooms.
Mestre is a great option to stay rather than to fight getting yourself and luggage to Venice island which is a 15 minute bus ride to Venice.
Legrenzi Rooms are located close to the bus and train station and a great restaurant and bar plus shopping is right outside the door!
