The staff is very good. He is polite and very helping. the kitchen at the ground floor + dinining room is good. The hotel has only four rooms and so even if the kitchen is shared one, you may find it not very difficult.
the wi-fi connection and cleanliness is good.
A shopping mall and PISA train station are on walking distance. -

Locanda Guidi is also a very well Osteria (restaurant) and Enoteca. The diner was really awesome, with a wijde choice of great wines against very affordable prices. -

We stayed there for three nights. It is located not even ten minutes walking from the station. It takes however more than 20 minutes to get to the Leaning Tower. The b&b is beautifully designed, with cute furniture and you can feel the great attention to detail. We stayed in Paris room which had a private external bathroom across the corridor but that was not a big problem. There is a nice terrace where you can have your breakfast or some wine in the evening.

Great location, just few steps from the beach and 5min from downtown Portoferraio.
Room was bigger than expected, very clean, big terrace. Great breakfast. Personnel at the reception was very nice, they gave us lots of information on what to do in Elba. Also, although we reserved a standard room, they upgraded us to a room with sea view for free.
