Great location. Can walk everywhere you need to go. Hotel is on second floor of pretty non-descript building on fun street with plenty of restaurants and shops. Close to all major sites. Owner and family and staff could not have been more congenial, and helpful, which always balances a hotel which is a bit less than elegant. If you are going to Florence to see the city and its art, and not planning on spending a lot of time in your room, then this is a great value. We had one of their large

The host was welcoming, knowledgable and wonderful! The room was beautiful and the surrounding countryside was lovely. We borrowed bikes and had an amazing time cycling through the countryside to Lucca, which was also picturesque and beautiful. The restaurant and wine he recommended (host was also a sommelier) were both fantastic!!

In general the room, the staff who was very kind. People often complain about the breakfast but I think it is just fine. It is enough, at least :) Everything was clean, so nothing to say there. And they kept our bags even after we checked out (we checked out in the morning and had a late evening flight). -

We stayed here for our honeymoon. We had a late check-in (around 9pm at night) and Trentatre advised it wasn't a problem. On arrival, Josie was there to greet us who lives on site. Josie prepares the breakfast and is lovely.

From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and told about local restaurants and places to see. The room was wonderful - high ceilings , big comfortable bed and lovely decor.The room was big and spacious with a wonderful bathroom. Easy walking distance to the main attractions of Florence - the C 2 - small buses - stops close by if too tired to walk back to the hotel at the end of the day.Plenty of places to eat. Would recommend Trentatre.

It is an exceptional location with a beautiful view over the town of Lucca, with a great pool, a chic interior decor and very good traditional food. Emiliano is a very welcoming host, very funny and a great chef. You can ask him what do you want for dinner and he will prepare for you.
