  There is very little to dislike. We hugely enjoyed our stay here, the apartment was fine and allowed us to cook as we wished etc. The pool is excellent and even though it was October, the staff opened it up for us without complaint. Siracusa is within very easy reach and is well worth a number of visits. We used the local train from Siracusa and this added a lot - - A wonderful place to be! We had an apartment with one bedroom, bathroom and kitchen - very handy if you like cooking yourself! If not, they also offer pre-ordered dinner (but be careful - a looot of food! :) The staff was amazingly friendly. For breakfast you'll get served also their self made lemon and orange marmalade-delicious! You can also buy a jar to take along.   It was little bit out of reach in the hills, but it was very well appointed. Dinners there were a special treat, with the anti-pasti of such variety and flavour, enough to make you think that no more was necessary! We don't like to see caged ostriches though.   We feel at home, great welcome. All family is very nice and make a great effort to speak in English despite having several italian guests. They give us great personal advice on things to do, tell us about the history of Sicily and the Ragusa region. As stated, the breakfast is awesome, home made and explained to you. Emilio from the staff was really h - Our stay was FANTASTIC! The facilities were beyond compare to any agrotourismo we have stayed at. Everything was perfectly clean, and comfortable. The family who owns Cane Stanco was so hospitable and nice. We paid for dinner there one night, and it was fantastic. Rustic, true Sicilian cooking. The breakfasts were amazing, always something fresh and the baked goods were so good. If you are planning on staying around the area, I would highly recommend staying here!
